;Why did you choose Red?
It felt like home, and they are probably the only ones who can keep my ego in line.

;Are you like the Red in the Books?
I don't know. I feel I am too friendly and accepting of people to be like the reds from the books. I am independent and possess strong moral opinions and ethics, but I am not too stubborn, I am willing to listen to other opinions.

;How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?
Long. I was lazy, and I pretty much don't care about rank. I was happy to remain an Accepted forever--they had to kidnap me and take me by surprise in order to raise me to senior member.

;How long have you been a member of TV.net?
Since September 3rd, 2004.

;Should we be scared because you're Red?
No, you should be scared because I'm clever, devious, and playful.

;How did you get to read the Series?
I knew someone who had already joined the community, and the people here seemed great.

;If Reds could have bonded, do you think you would have?
Probably not.

;Who is your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
I quite like both Egwene and Mat, but only later in the series.

;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
I haven't been to an official event yet, but I go to see the Michigan tower members several times a year. I love partying with tower members, everyone accepts each other and no one is fake. People should go to tower functions because they will form some of the most valuable relationships they'll have in their life.

;What kind of music do you like?
Almost everything. I am however the most partial to acoustic covers, indie, and post-grunge. I maintain that 96-99 were the best years for music.

;What are your favorite movies?
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Amélie, Jeux D'Enfants

;What job do you have?
I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. Still in school for my degree, but I do freelance stuff on the side for now.

No, but I would love to own a chinchilla one day!

English and only enough French to not get lost in France.

;What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
I wanted to be an artist or writer. I guess I followed through on that!

Pevara. I see a bit of myself in her.

Manetheren... I'm all about pride and roots. (I'm so Canadian it hurts :D)

Roses, duh.

I definitely prefer dogs. I am too much like a feline myself, it makes it nearly impossible for me to get along with cats. I want a big dog one day that will drag me down the street as I walk it. :D

I'm a tall, energetic art student living in downtown Toronto, Canada. I make it a personal endeavour to make each day an adventure, and this has led to me become a well-rounded, easily adaptable person. I am often out trying new things, going new places, meeting new people. I love to go out with friends to chat over a pint of guinness, read comics, eat sushi, drool over good typography, and I will always help someone in need. I am also that person who will become your friend during an elevator ride. :)

I was raised to Gaidin at the Second Anni party in Tennessee.

;Why did you choose Val'Cueran?
I chose Val'Cueran because they are the Heart Guard. For long before joining Tarvalon.net I was often the person my friends came to with problems. I've always been one to help in the background and ask nothing in return and Val'Cueran exemplifies these ideals and more.

;How was your time as Citizen/Recruit/Soldier?
Well, there was no Citizen rank when I joined, so that time was great!. As for recruit and soldier, I had a wonderful time and many fond memories of that era. Climbing the Wall, getting stabbed by gaidin in the training yards, even EzBoard and its chatroom.

Somewhere around 8 1/2 years.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
Right now I'm just a splurker.

;How did you get to read the Series?
The first book was bought for me back in 8th grade or so by my mom's friend for my b-day.

Mat is my favorite character. The Two River is my favorite... "region" I suppose is a better word than Nation.

I've been to several real-life events. And I must say there is nothing like meeting your friends and family from all over the world for the first time.

Metal (Power, Heavy, Thrash, Black, Fantasy....), Alternative, Rock n' Roll, Electronic, Industrial, Rapcore/"Nu Metal", Acoustic, Instrumental, Mash-ups, J-Pop, ect.ect.ect

Garden State is my only real "favorite movie".

;When were you raised to Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah?
I was summoned on the 2nd of September 2009 and announced on the 3rd of September 2009.

;Why did you choose Blue?
Because I'm Blue to my bones. It was the natural choice for me after realising that both of my sponsors were Blues, that I posted mainly in Blue, that I felt comfortable in Blue and that Blue simply felt like home. I guess, I already was Blue, when I became a member of the site - even when a certain someone described me as "Brown with Green stripes", when getting to know me in RL. But I'm so not Brown o Green on the site.

;Are you like the Blues in the Books?
Yes and no, I'd say. I'm very Blue as in having a cause I'd do everything for, I'm not Blue as I avoid getting involved in politics. That I studied history, politics and sociology surely is an indication, too.

;Do you plot and manipulate? Do you travel a lot?
Yes, I plot, but I don't manipulate. I like to surprise people with small gifts or sending them a pretty card, but I hate people, who are trying to manipulate others into the direction they want instead of helping them or simply saying, what they want. I travelled a lot back in the days as a teenager and a young adult, nowadays travelling became more rare.

;How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?
I rushed through my time as a Citizen and as a Novice. I hated being Accepted after I aspired for many reasons. This experience alone will prevent me of demoting ever. If I'd known about all the hassle before, I wouldn't have joined the Tower.

;How long have you been a member of TV.net?
I joined the 11th of September 2007.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
I've been a staff member of the Online Events team from January 2008 until June 2009, I was Guildmistress of the Gleemen Guild from June 2009 until February 2010, and I'm currently preparing and hosting the Summer Euro Party 2010 together with Heron Tallamand.

;How did you get to read the Series?
I stumbled over the books in my favourite book shop in 1994, when I was still a student, and was hooked latest after Rand saving Tam from the trollocs in the first book.

;To whom are you bonded, if you are bonded?
m not officially bonded.

;Who is your mentee, if you have one?
I don't have any mentees yet, but I'm the Shendar to Nymeria and Ma'sayna.

;Who's your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
Lan and Nynaeve have always been my favourite characters, and I guess, my favourite nations are the borderlands, though I'd exclude Saldaea.

;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
I attended the Summer Euro Parties 2008 and 2009 and will - of course - attend the Summer Euro Party 2010. RL events are great to get to know people aside from there avatars and site names, and sometimes you'll notice, that people are less awesome in RL or more awesome than on the site.

;What kind of music do you like?
I like any kind of melodic music, but as I started to play the violin at the age of six, I mainly listen to classical music. I've a good source though, who constantly takes care for widening my musical horizon - and I like that a lot.

;What are your favorite movies?
The Lord of the Rings movies, especially the second one.

;What job do you have?
I'm a studied historian, worked for years as a freelance journalist, couldn't pay my bills with that and became a secretary - a job I hate, but which pays my bills. I'm still writing though, and I also earn money as a musician.

;Do you have a pet?
I have a bunny called "Dächschen" ("little badger" in English), because she totally looks like a badger with her black and white fur.

;What languages do you speak?
German, English and French.

;What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
A nurse at the age of eleven, a journalist after that.

I chose Green because it was filled with women I love and admire who put up with my crap when I need it and kick my ass when I need it. They have things in common with me. I am a survivor and a fighter, and they are too. I am frequently exasperated by men, but love them (partially because of the exasperation, and partially in spite of it), and we share this quality also. But more than any of this, I chose Green because if there were no one left in my Ajah but me, it would still be Green.

;Do you like to party, love men and are you a sucker for fashion and make up?
Yes, most of the time, and not so much unless I'm looking to freak people out.

I didn't really choose MDD. It chose me and I had no choice but to answer the call.

I was a Citizen for two years before I finally got talked into joining the Tower. I don't remember a whole lot about Recruit and Soldier days. I guess nothing interesting really happened.

Since November of 2003.

2003. I provide some alternative medicine info for the Healer's Guild. And I am the nice guy facade of MDD. ;)

;How did you get to read the Series?
In 1993, I was looking for another big fat fantasy book to read. I like the ones that have their own glossary in the back. My librarian suggest that I take a look at The Eye of the World. And the rest is history.

Bonded to the lovely Adina al'Mari. She's like a little sis that I like to check in on every now and again. And she sends me the best baked goods! :D

I find that a difficult question. I find Matt the most entertaining. But I think I relate more with Perrin. I don't think any nation has enamored me enough to have a favorite.

Too many! At the moment, I'm a package design intern for a graphic design firm, and I'm also a junior designer in my school's interactive media department. This summer, I'll be a textile design intern. Oh, and I'm also in charge of making sure Ariana doesn't blow up the world.

;When were you raised to Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah?
I honestly wouldn't know. I got raised Accepted on 28 october 2004, and accepted in the Red the next day. As far as i know i've only been accepted a short while so somewhere soon after i'd say. In a way being Aes Sedai was less important to me then being Home.

;Why did you choose Red?
It chose me. I had been hanging out a lot while i was a citizen, and then when i joined the Tower i became a roomie with Morwyna, who also had very red tendencies, and both of us had red mentors. In a way the other Ajahs might as well not have existed, Red has always been home for me.
The women in it are as amazing as they are diverse, yet in a way still the same in so many ways.

;Are you like the Red in the Books?
Well i don't hate men for one, but i do feel like i will do what is needed, even if that makes me weird or an outcast; if i find it important enough; which, i believe, is one of the biggest treats of the Reds in the books, even the annoying, idiot ones.

;How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?
very calm. While being citizen my Übersheep Betsy would occasionally cause trouble by eating furniture in the Appartments but other then that i've always been a calm, rule-abiding person. Think i've only once been sent to the Mistress of Novices under all the time i've been novice/accepted (and i've been novice for almost a year )

;How long have you been a member of TV.net?
since september or october 2003 if i remember correctly; so that'd be 6 and a half year about now.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
not quite as much as i probably should. I serve as Sitter for the hall when asked to... i think that's just about it.

;Should we be scared because you're Red?
yes. unless you bribe me with handcuffs.

;How did you get to read the Series?
A friend of mine mentioned them once, and another one did so too a few years later and we started talking about it; so i went to look it up at the library and got hooked

no. I have my Sisters.

Camigwen Tah'Sien. Although i believe she's not around a lot anymore.

Nynaeve i think. and nation would have to be the Athan'Miere, if they count as one.

I've been to a number of them before money became an issue, and loved every single one of them. They are an amazing way to put a face on people you know so well yet never met before.
oh and you might meet others you've never talked to on the boards but who can turn out to become amazing friends or more.

most things, depending on mood. the only things i don't really like are heavymetal and stuff like that

Love Actually and Pretty Woman. In general romantic comedies / chickflicks.

me and my family was going on vacation and the day b4 we where leaving we went to the liberery to get something to read in the car on the way there and such... my mom intended the book to keep me occupied most of the time on the vacation; we where going fishing and well there is a lot of un occupied time whilse not fishing.
anyways i picked up a book in the liberery that looked intresting on the cover. apparentley that was book 3 of the series but hey i didn't care, i just needed something to kill time with. when we arived at the fishing place five hours later the book was done. the next day we had to go to the local liberery to pick up the following book. when we came hom a week later i had read 4 books in total :P i was hooked. after that i have read the series 5 times. exluding the last two books on read them once

I was raised to DM Gaidin in June of 2007 and in then started lurking lol.

Because of my fellow Gaidin there partly. They have a patience and lightheartedness that fits my personality to a T. I also am big about planning ahead and thinking tactically regarding situations much like the Company description, which is what first drew me to look at DM.

;How was your time as Citizen/Recruit/Soldier?
It was quite a lot of fun. I followed in my mentor's footsteps and became one of the male novices. I also had the pleasure of being raised to Soldier at 5th Anniversary, which I will always treasure. I wouldn't give any of it back for the world.

I've been a member of TV for almost 6 years now. Sometimes it seems like just yesterday lol.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
At the moment I add to the lurking gaidin. I would like to become a bigger part of the site though, whether it be helping new members feel welcome or just do what I can to make the site a better place.

My dad brought the abridged audio tapes home and they piqued my curiosity. I ended up buying the books to see what I had missed and was hooked.

I would have to say Perrin or Thom. I've always felt that, aside from being thinking things through before speaking, I am very similar to Perrin. I like Thom because no matter what he just keeps on going and is a strong man.

I have and I love them. It makes the feeling of family that much more real. The more I have gone the more I want to go back. It's a great way to put a face to a name and interact on an entirely different level.

I like pretty much every type of music in some variety. I'm probably caught listening to indie rock most of the time, though I do tend to vary with mood.

hmmm I would have to say I favorite the Star Wars original trilogy, LoTR, and pretty much every comic book film put out so far.

I work as a customer service representative in the mortgage business. I get to explain things like escrow to customers. It's thrilling... if only lol.

Back when I was first scoping out the site in '04 I read through the company descriptions and really liked what DM was about. When I finally got round to joining the site, I ended up sponsored by people from the company, was mentored by one, and finally guested to see what a company with such great people in it was like.

Once your there they don't let you go!

I mean, they're a great bunch of guys (and gals woo DM Aes Sedai!) who connect with eachother in goals, likes, dislikes and more. It's a family, and that family feel is hard not to like.

;How was your time as Citizen/Recruit/Soldier?
Long. Very, very long. Since I joined the site when I was 13 I was stuck as a Citizen for a year before I was eligible to be sponsored for the tower. Then as a Recruit I had to wait at least another year before I could be raised to Soldier, finally as a soldier I had to wait 2 years (or so, I forget) till I was eligible to be raised Gaidin.

Even though I took a long time to progress I don't regret it. Reminiscing with a Captain about pranks pulled together as recruits while you can be disciplined by the same guy gets kinda weird though :P

;How long have you been a member of TV.net?
4 years officially, 6 including two years I spend only in Chat.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
I was a Tech. and Media moderator for a term last year. Very enjoyable working with all the other moderators, and something i'd recommend.

;How did you get to read the Series?
I was introduced to the series by a friend of mine when I was 12. As soon as I picked up Eye I was hooked. I've read the entire series a lot, close-t0 or over 15 times now I think! Easily my favorite book series by a mile.

I was raised in June of 2006.

;Why did you choose Gray?
The Grays are always so much fun and so welcoming! I was told so many times that I was Green (and some people still do :p) and I had a hard time deciding as a Novice. I didn't have the opportunity to guest back then so I didn't get to guest with the Greens. In the end the Grays were the best fit for me! I love all of my Gray sisters dearly and I don't know what I would've done the past nearly 5 years without them.

;Are you like the Grays in the Books?
Not really. I can be diplomatic when I need to though. :p

;Do you love politics and do you like to discuss a lot?
I'm not into politics or discussing them.

;How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?
My time as citizen was so awesome! I had my first sister, Miridyth, with me during that time and we had a lot of fun. We were the ones that started the "WAS" table in the tavern and had a blast in real life as wenches!

My time as Novice was another amazing time here. They made Miridy and I roommates and we caused all kinds of havoc.

Being an Accepted wasn't like it is now. We didn't have guesting.

I went to Anni 2010 and it was amazing! I got to meet new people and see some of my closest Tower peeps. :) The ceremonies were the best I've had the opportunity to attend, beside Dcon 2009 where my someone very important to me, was raised and bonded! ;)
I think the real life functions are the best part of the Tower! Once you meet some in person, you start to "hear" their posts differently. We have such a blast when we are together and tend to get very little sleep. :p

I listen to Renaissance, country and rock/metal.

I work with the developmentally disabled. It's a very rewarding job and can be fun when you work with the right people!

I did, however, find that I did indeed find my "home" as there's a good bunch of men from around the world in there and we're all backing eachother up. Yes, we have some disagreements now and then.... but that's only natural, when you've been in the company of the same people for a long time. However, I respect and love every one of them.

I made a point of spending at least two weeks with each Ajah. Some I spent a little more time with than others. Ultimately, when I guested with the White Ajah it just felt like home. I enjoy the connections with the book Whites (logic and philosophy), but also the fact that we are diverse and bring our perspectives together in ways that help unify, rather than divide, us.

Sometimes. Even in the midst of the wildest emotional extremes, logic is always there. When examining a problem, I look at the facts presented and determine the most logical solution. However I do not consider myself to be cold and aloof and above wordly matters. I have to live in this world, and I'm part of it.

In college, when I played AD&D, the Dungeon Master used elements from the series to create his characters classes and such. I was curious, so I started reading "Eye of the World" and was hooked.

Favorite character changes depending on situation and book. I'm rather fond of Aviendha. Favorite Nation: Saldaea without a doubt. They are known for horsemanship and, I identify strongly with characteristics of some of the female Saldaean characters.

;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
Yup. Loved them! It's so nice to put faces to names. In some cases, real life interaction has actually made online interaction easier with people. Plus, the events themselves have been well planned and fun!

Traditional Irish, bits and pieces of almost every category of music except heavy metal. Dance, classical, Middle Eastern, Disney soundtracks, Billy Squier, etc.

Moulin Rouge, A Dog's Breakfast, Paycheck, Minority Report, Princess Bride, The Fifth Element, the Bourne trilogy, The One (Jet Li), lots of kung fu/martial arts flicks

Born April 2, 1971 in Annapolis, MD
Raised in Virginia, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
College in VA
Moved back to Massachusetts.
Played Dungeons and Dragons in college. Somehow got a degree in Communications.
Spent lots of time in Irish pubs in Boston for the following 5 years; not drinking, playing with Irish musicians.
Moved to Maryland and taught high school for 3 years. Loved the students. The "grown ups" sucked. Politics. Lazy, apathetic parents. Teachers are not paid enough. They shouldn't have tenure, though.
Anyway...
Worked and lived at Pimlico Racetrack for 2 years, taking care of the racehorses. If I could have made my living at it, I'd have stayed. Major loss in salary factor and ability to keep up with technology, but totally worth it.
Worked for an odd little IT company for 4 years. Now unemployed.
Ugh. I'm in resume mode.
Always love horses. Did a lot of riding in my teens and in college. Little time for it after that, sadly.
Had the sweetest dog in the word from 1989 to 1998. 9 sweet years. I still miss her. I'm waiting to get into a good position to where I can get 2 dogs (so they can keep each other company).
Meanwhile, I volunteer at the SPCA. Lots of doggies to play with! And when it's time, that's where I will get my dogs from.
I like to play guitar and piano even though I'm horrible at them and can't read music anymore.
I am currently reading the Bible. (That sentence should be good for a loooong time, since it's taking me ages to make progress.)

Even before joining the site, I always felt very strongly connected to the Whites of the series. I admired their dedication to serene logic and reason.
When I found the Whites here, they were nothing like the cold, heartless Whites of the books, however. They're a warm, caring group of women with a great collective sense of humour.
I know everyone says this, but they felt like home.

;Are you like the Whites in the Books?
Not at all! I'm possibly the least serene White you could ever find. I can hold the Aes Sedai stare for maybe 10 seconds before bursting into laughter. And I don't feel as though I'm as cold or dedicated to reason over emotion as they are, since I'm admittedly ruled by my heart more often than my head.

It's almost impossible for me to stay serene looking, unless I'm plotting and don't want to arouse suspicion.

I quiet enjoyed being a Citizen. I loved the Apartments and the freedoms to post. But alas, all my friends were up and leaving me for the Tower, so I followed along.
I was a pretty quiet Novice, only getting in trouble once. We we just trying to be helpful and brighten up a few days, I swear! *shifty look*
And I was one of the Eternal Accepteds due to a rather long period of being LOA/MIA.

My favourite colour is blue, my favourite author is James Joyce, and the best feeling in the world is grass beneath my feet.
I believe life is too short to take everything seriously, though you should still make it all worth the while.

;Why did you choose Val'Cueran?
Val'Cueran chose me as much as I chose it. I'd been a member for years before the Companies were created, and there was never any question or conscious choice - I was Val'Cueran from its conception, and I identify very strongly with its principles and personality types, even as I've helped to direct and form them.

;How was your time as Citizen/Recruit/Soldier?
Citizens, again, were way after my introduction to the Tower. I'm a special case, I suppose, being one of very few people who never really held any of the intervening ranks - I was raised to Gaidin (or Youngling, as it was called in those days) the same day I met other Tower members, Eleyan among them, for the first time, at 2nd Anni in Oklahoma City.

;How long have you been a member of TV.net?
8+ years now? Something like that.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
I've held nearly every hat that a Gaidin can, in some way or another, though a number of positions have been created since that I haven't technically held. I've developed and designed the last four iterations of the website, holding the position of "Webmaster" (now Director of IT) for a few years; as of April 2010 I'm the only person to have held an HoA/CC position twice, currently in my second term as Company Commander of VC. I've been on various committees at events, designed logos and banners for dozens of things. I step in wherever I can help, which is usually on the web development/graphics side of things.

;How did you get to read the Series?
I was introduced to the books by some friends in high school. I don't remember the year exactly, but I think it was just before Lord of Chaos was released.

;To whom are you bonded, if you're bonded?
Eleyan al'Landerin, the Amyrlin Seat.

;Who is your mentee, if you have one?
I've had a few, but I can't recall their names as it's been years since my last one. I'm not very good at it. :)

;Who's your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
Mat Cauthon for sure. I've always been partial to the Odin/Norse mythos. Favorite nation... I'd have to say probably Cairhien, though that's probably more of an architectural bias.

;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
Many, many, many events. I won't bother to list them, but I've been to every Anniversary Party and Dragon*Con since 2002, most of the Fall Ball events, and dozens of local gatherings. I like them, of course, and it's all about meeting and hanging out with everyone else who attends.

;What kind of music do you like?
I listen to a pretty wide variety. Lately I'm on sort of an electronic/pop kick - Sam Sparro, Peter Bjorn, MGMT, a few others. And I never tire of classic and British rock - The Who, Beatles, The Clash, Zeppelin. Because I play the piano, I also follow Tori Amos, Billy Joel, Ben Folds, The Fray, Mark Cohn, lots of others.

;What are your favorite movies?
Hrm... another tough one, since I have pretty broad tastes there. As far as directors go, I'm partial to the Coen brothers, Wachowskis, Kevin Smith, and smaller indie houses. To define it by way of example, check out: "Primer", "The Shawshank Redemption", "Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas", "Children of Men", "A Serious Man". I could go on, but I won't.

;What job do you have?
I've been a web developer and IT project lead for a good 12 years now, at a variety of companies, in Tulsa, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and now Cincinnati. I very much enjoy my career (evidenced by the fact that I also do web development as a hobby/freelance).

;Do you have a pet?
Shannan and I have a cat, Andromeda, who we call Annie.

;What languages do you speak?
English and a smattering of Spanish.

;What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
"Jet pilot" is the one that comes to mind, from when I was very young. By 10 or 11, though, I'd moved on to programming computers and learning my first computer languages, already creating little virtual worlds and graphics programs, so I guess that was a good indication of what I'd be doing two decades later.

Right now I only stay active :look I've been a moderator for half a year, I was a TINY trip into the Online Event team for DM, and apart from that just small helpings.

Well.. it was in 8th grade, it was two weeks left of school, and we were to read an English book. Everyone took childrens books at 10 pages and such, but I couldn't find any I liked. Then, after everyone had left, I saw it.. a monster book at 816 pages. My teacher called me straight out mad, but yeah..

Anni 2010 was my first function, and I'm totally addicted. Its like a drug to walk into a room full of people you've never met before, or met briefly, and yet know most of them. Knowing each other on the boards makes face to face meeting a heady experience, because friendship is more likely to explode into full bloom rather than having to grow. When it happens 80 times in the space of a weekend, its an amazing experience!

Everything except modern rap and ancient country.

I'm cinematically challenged, but my favorite movie is probably Boondock Saints, and 10th Kingdom.

I enjoyed my time as a citizen, as well as a junior member. I remember a prank that my first-sister Lireina and I played on the then-Captain, Riley...it consisted of decorating his office with a disco ball, a dance floor...and I'm not sure what else *lol* Suffice to say, our lovely MoN Neisa gave us a good punishment...I even have it written down somewhere around here *lol* Oh...a disco ball is really good at mesmerizing people...just saying :look

I was raised to Aes Sedai on March 19, 2010, at 9th Anni in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It was AWESOME! :D

;Why did you choose Green?
I chose Green simply because I am Green. I demoted from Gray and went searching for my home after a great amount of deliberation. As I visited each ajah, I found pieces that fit...but not enough for me to stay. Once I visited Green, I knew I was home. Took me a long time to get there, but I finally found my home, and it's where I will stay.

;Do you like to party, love men and are you a sucker for fashion and make up?
I enjoy getting together with friends and having a few drinks. Men are wonderful...I have a wonderful fiance, and many great male friends. I'm not much into fashion or makeup, though I've tried...I just don't possess that fashion gene :p And it really doesn't bother me in the least *lol* As long as I more or less match, it's all good.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
I've been a chat op for a couple of years now. I was the committee head for Awards for 9th Anni, as well as helping with awards, errands, and cooking for 8th Anni. I've served the Gray as sitter and heart before I demoted. I also have written articles for the Library, and I'm looking to do this again in the near future.

;How did you get to read the Series?
I was walking through my local bookstore one day, searching for something new to read. I've always liked fantasy novels, and I happened to stop by a table with fantasy novels on it. The first three books of the WoT were sitting there, on sale, so I read the back of the first one, liked it, and decided to pick them up. I've been stuck on them ever since!

;Who is your mentee, if you have one?
I've had 2 mentees - Noura, who was raised to White, and Aleita, who was raised to Green.

;Who is your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
I still like Rand, and I've always enjoyed Mat. Perrin needs to get a bit more backbone for me to like him better. As for the ladies...Egwene has come a long way, and Cadsuane is simply divine! I'd like to swat Elayne a few times with a slipper though...:look

As for nations...I don't really have one, though I guess Saldea ranks up there, as well as Ebou Dar...strong women, who don't take crap from anyone :D

I've attended Fall Ball 2005, Anni 2006, Fall Ball 2006, Anni 2008/09/10, so that makes 6 events so far! I love going to events! I get to meet those I have only talked to on the boards or in chat, catch up with old friends and family, and see different parts of the US and Canada. It reinforces why I enjoy this community so much...because it is a community.

As for why people should come to an event...it's simply a great time! Food, laughter, karaoke, drinks, PEOPLE!! You just gotta go!

I like rock and pop...though I'm not really up on the new music playing these days. I'm sorta stuck in the '80's *lol*

Ohhh...let's see...LoTR extended versions, Dogma, Stars Wars. Star Trek, The Abyss for some weird reason, Constantine for the same weird reason.

Alas, it was a bad time for me to take a nursing course, so I ended up doing other things.

When I first Guested with Blue, I immediately felt at home there, and the feeling hasn't left me. I know I can always be myself and i'll be accepted in Blue, and I don't need to be everyone's BFF to know that my Ajah cares for me and supports me in whatever I do. Blue just fits me perfectly. ^^

;Are you like the Blues in the Books?
In some ways; yes. I can be determined to achieve a goal, and passionate about my causes, but I think i'm a little more open and easy going than the traditional book blue.

I love travelling and have gone quite a few places. I'd say it's a passion of mine, and even though i've just come back from my last overseas holiday - i'm already planning the next one!

Wow, that's a looong time ago! Well, I was one of the first citizens (which i'm proud to say!) and I remember my time as citizen and novice as being an incredibly spammy time (haha). Some of my close friends and I all joined at the same time while we were still at school, and clearly TV.net is a lot more interesting than schoolwork so we spent pretty much all day online together. It must have been a nightmare for the admins to deal with us!

I really enjoyed both times I experienced as Accepted. It's a time when you've been a member for a while so people know you quite well and you've made a lot of friends, and you can really spend the time to get to know the Ajah's and where you fit in the community.

I'm currently working for Ubahsur in the Department of Administration.

I picked up book 7 from my library, not realising that it was part of a series. After getting a quarter way through it and being thoroughly confused, I decided to go find book 1 and figure out what was actually going on.

I have attended 2 official Aussie tower parties, and I have just recently attended my first Anni party which I loved!

I can be very shy around people I don't know well, but everyone is just so nice and easy to get along with that I felt comfortable straight away. I think everyone should go to a tower party if they get the opportunity, you understand people so much better and make so many new friends!

;What kind of music do you like?
I have a very eclectic taste in music. The music that speaks to my heart is grunge rock music, but my iPod has music of almost every genre. Some of my non-rock favourite bands have been punk, hip hop, folk and indie! The only genre I don't really listen to is new country, and I would only rarely listen to classical music.

;What job do you have?
I'm currently involved in administration, though my passion is for interior design and I intend to move into the real estate industry.

I was raised to Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah on May 30th, 2009.

;Why did you choose Blue?
I chose Blue because I love each and every one of my Sisters and because the Blue Ajah felt like home in my heart. Of course, Plotting, Brownies and S'rediti never hurt either. *winks*

In all seriousness, I began my guesting experience and went through many of the Ajah Halls. It was the Blue Ajah that instantly found a place within my heart. When I could not bring myself to leave their Halls, even for a short time to guest with another Ajah, I knew the Blue was my home. I am honored to be a Blue, and I always will be.

;Are you like the Blues in the Books?
I like to think so. My two favourite characters in the books have always been Siuan and Moiraine. I've always admired their passion and drive for whatever they set their minds and hearts on, their willingness to risk whatever they need to see that their causes are filled, even if the risk is themselves. That, is very much a substantial part of who I am.

;Do you plot and manipulate? Do you travel a lot?
Sadly, I'm a home body and do not travel a whole lot. However, I love to plot surprises for my friends and Sisters and such. I've never been very manipulative though. I do know how to get my own way and prefer it when things go as planned though. I also tend to plan things many years into the future, I know what I want and most times, I'll stop at nothing to get it. When I set my mind and heart on something, it is achieved no matter what.

;How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?
I spent a great deal of time as a Novice and Accepted. I remember when I first became a citizen in 2006 the boards had gone down and we were "camping" on another set of forums. I made a lot of friends during that time and many of those friendships still hold now. Once the forums were back up I started a thread known as 'Willow's Inn" which is just a fun thread in the Olde Warder and Hen where a lot of people post and talk about different things. That thread still exists today.

As a novice, I spent a lot of time with my nose in the books. I read New Spring first and then applied to be a novice. It was until after I joined TarValon.net that I learned there was a whole series to go with New Spring. It took me two years, but I finished the series and applied to be raised. I didn't get in much trouble during that time via pranks, but I made several strong and lasting friendships.

As an Accepted I found my niche within the community. I got involved in many things and really learned my way around. I dipped my hand into everything I could and made a lot of great friends. I learned a lot about myself, the community, the Ajahs, and many of the members of the site. I was thrilled to guest and get to know my Ajahs, quickly finding my home with the Blues.

;How long have you been a member of TV.net?
I have been a member of TarValon.net since August 16th, 2006. Although I did take a period of time off before resuming regular activity, over all I have been very active.

;What things do you do for TV.net?
I have done many things in the past for TarValon.net. I've taught a classes, spent a term as a Moderator, served terms with the Tar Valon Times as a reporter, and have been a Sitter for the Blue Ajah. In the future I hope to revisit being a moderator and look at applying to be the Head of the Blue Ajah, the Mistress of Novices, or the Mistress of Accepted. I have also been a mentor. Finally, I am responsible for the Junior Member Raising Support thread in the Classroom, which is meant to support and encourage Junior Members through the raising requirements and process.

;How did you get to read the Series?
I found my way into Robert Jordan's world of the Wheel of Time when I was 14. My English teacher in Grade 9 got me into them by the way of the New Spring comics. From there, I went to New Spring and eventually purchased the rest of the series.

;To whom are you bonded, if you're bonded?
I am happily bonded to Miliham Rastobel of the San'Dma Shadar Company.

;Who is your mentee, if you have one?
I was a mentor to Malein Basolaine.

;Who's your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
Favourite nation would have to be Andor, however, my favourite characters are Siuan and Moiraine.

;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
Sadly I have not, however I hope to attend in the future.

;What kind of music do you like?
I'm not picky and I really enjoy many kinds of music, so long as I enjoy the beat and the lyrics are thoughtful or witty, I'll typically listen to it.

;What are your favorite movies?
As far as movies go I love Comedy and Romance. My recent favorites include 'Yes Man' and '27 Dresses'.

;What job do you have?
I'm currently unemployed as I'm a student. I'm starting my studies in Nursing in September.

;Do you have a pet?
Currently, no. My previous pet was a dog, a border-collie/shealty cross named Muffin. She passed away at the age of 12.

;What languages do you speak?
Born and raised English though I know small pieces of French, Spanish, and Japenese. I hope to study these further one day.

;What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
When I was a kid I so desperately wanted to be a doctor. It was by far my most favorite thing to play. I had a medical bag, and toy stethoscope, needle, forceps, medical tray, and even patient charts. I also would wear my father's dress shirt and pretend it was a medical coat. Every family gathering would be my chance to have all sorts of patients whom I'd happily diagnose with a variety of illnesses.

;Moiraine or Siuan?
That's a tough one... but I'm going to have to go with Moiraine. Ever since I started the series with New Spring she stood out to me. I find that her and I have a lot of similar qualities, I can identify with her, and have always been very attached to her.

;Shienar or Saldea?
Shienar I suppose.

;Tea or coffee?
Both? It depends on my mood really. I prefer coffee in the mornings or when I'm rather tired. Two sugars and some milk is just lovely.

Tea I prefer in the evenings or when I feel like relaxing. Then it requires a generous amount of honey and milk. Lately I've gotten into trying other teas beyond the standard grey though. I really enjoy peppermint and green teas. With herbal teas, I tend to drink them black though.

;Books or movies?
Another tough one... but I'm going to have to go movies. I read at a relatively slow pace and although I enjoy reading, when I'm looking for a quick story from start to finish I pick up a movie, or several movies.

;A short bio about yourself.
I was born August the 5th, 1991. I live at home in Ontario Canada with my parents. I recently graduated high-school February 3rd, 2010 and am heading to Durham College to begin my Nursing studies. From there, I plan to upgrade my Practical Nursing Diploma to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree before going on to practice. I enjoy reading, knitting, watching movies, and playing video games. Wheel of Time is by far my favorite series. I am happily engaged to TarValon.net's Elizabeth Ayrahien who has been a very close friend of mine since I was 9. We plan to be married once we are both done our Post Secondary studies.

I know that I would have guested Gray because I can relate to the women of the books, but it was really the real life meeting that won me over. I also realized that my mediation skills and caring nature for everyone is what makes me Gray.

Yes, I can be. I am often the first one that steps in and offers to help a mediate a situation and solve problems. I can be very diplomatic and see an issue from two different sides. This is why I'm Gray.

;Do you love politics and do you like to discuss a lot?
I prefer learning about politics rather than discussing them. I feel strongly about my beliefs but do not force them on anyone. Respecting everyone's opinion instead of forcing them to trust yours, is key.

I've been to every Dragon Con since 2004, I attended Anni of 2009 and Anni 2010. I have every intention to make it to every real life event that I can. I love real life events because they give you the opportunity to put a "voice" to someone's writing on the boards. Besides, it is always fun to meet up with the people we consider family.

I listen to everything from country to rap to symphonic goth metal. I have no specific favorite.

Currently I am employed with Starbucks as a barista, however I've held a job with GameStop and Sears as well.

Fun...but way too long. Mostly because I joined the site after reading the 4th book in the series and it took me awhile to finish them.

I've served as a forum moderator and a researcher in the past. Currently I'm just enjoying my time as a new Gaidin with my brothers.

I had just finished the Dark Tower series by Stephen King and I love series in general. A friend that knew how I like to read series introduced me to WoT and I've never looked back.

I am a Staff member for Dragon*Con, so I attend that one a lot. This year was my first Anni, and I have to say that I had the BEST time ever. Nothing but my TV friends were there and I really didn't have to do anything else but be kind to the lasies :D

I am a parent of 5 and am 41 years old. I am a 2 time Gulf War veteran (both of them) and currently an Art student at California Design College. I have been doing Wheel of Time fan art for 10 years and recently won a spot to have my work produced in a WoT calendar published by TOR Books.
