The [[Tar Valon Times Takeover]] began in November 2020 and ran through February 2022. During the first week of the month, each membership group at TarValon.Net was given the opportunity to showcase themselves, their work (inside or outside TarValon.Net), their favourite artists/books/memes, and much much more. The goal of the TVT Takeover was to give groups the opportunity to share a bit of who they are as groups and individuals and present "their" TVT to the readers of the Tar Valon Times, both within TarValon.Net and beyond.

The [[Tar Valon Times Editor]] is responsible for the publishing of the Tar Valon Times, and all content within. They also guide and manage both the staff within the team and guest writers from within the TarValon.Net community.

[[Jahily al'Karee|Jahily]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2012. She is currently an Unaffiliated Senior Member, Aspired to the Gray Ajah. Jahily first served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times from 2013-2014. She rejoined the staff as Assistant Editor on December 2, 2020; and took on the role of Editor on April 2, 2021. Prior to her return to the TVT, she was the Mayor of the City, which included serving as the Membership Admin to our Visitors, Citizens, and Resident Citizens; and co-teaching the Citizen's Class in July-August 2020

The [[Tar Valon Times Assistant Editor]] is responsible for writing, proofing and archiving for the Tar Valon Times. They also help to support the TVT Staff Team in the creation of their pieces.

[[Leala ni al'Dareis t'al'Caleum|Leala]] is an Aes Sedai and has been a member of the TarValon.Net community for many years, serving serving the community at large. Fun fact, one of Leala's mentors was the longest standing Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times. Leala has created various art pieces and comics for the Tar Valon Times and took up the mantle of Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times on May 5, 2021.

The Tar Valon Times operates within the Department of Marketing. Alongside the [[Department of Marketing]] and its [[Director of Marketing|Director]] ([[Aleita Taviah]]) the Tar Valon Times is one of the external channels which represents TarValon.Net to those outside the community. [[Tar Valon Times Staff|TVT Staff Members]] are eligible for the [[Reporter Merit]] (Silver and Gold) based on how many articles/art pieces they create for the Tar Valon Times not the amount of time served. 

Whether you are a reporter, creative writer, artist or reviewer the Tar Valon Times staff has a place for you. Applications to join the Tar Valon Times staff are '''always''' open and have no set terms of service. [[Jahily al'Karee|Jahily]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2012. She is currently an Accepted, and recently finished her term as Mayor of the City. Jahily first served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times from 2013-2014. She co-taught the Citizen's Class in July-August 2020; and has previously served as part of the Welcoming Committee and Friendly Face Team. Jahily became Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times on December 2, 2020, and Editor on April 2, 2021.

Jahily was appointed [[Tar Valon Times]] Editor on April 2, 2021, after serving as Assistant Editor beginning December 2, 2020. Her writing focus in 2021 has been on Member Spotlights. As a reporter for the Tar Valon Times from 2013-2014 Jahily wrote about different holiday traditions around the world. She made us laugh with articles such as [[Kids Say the Darndest Things!]] and even taught us about Drive Ins! Most recently, Jahily wrote for the [[Tar Valon Times Takeover]] Citizen Edition and Novice & Recruit Edition. Jahily is looking forward to her tenure as Editor, working alongside a dedicated team of writers!

[[Aleita Taviah|Aleita]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2006. She was raised to Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah in 2009. Aleita has served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times, Outreach Activities Team, City Council and the Department of Community Outreach. She has also served as a moderator, a Sitter in the Hall, Mistress of Revels (South Pacific), and has taught in the Classroom. Aleita has served her Ajah as Heart, Head Green Monkey, and as a Green Monkey and Ibis. Aleita hopes that through her work as Editor of the Tar Valon Times that she can foster an engaged and motivated team who will help bring the Tar Valon Times to a wider audience. Aleita became the Editor of the Tar Valon Times on September 1, 2020.

During the first week of the month (from November 2020 - December 2021) each membership group at TarValon.Net will be given the opportunity to showcase themselves, their work (inside or outside TarValon.Net), their favourite artists/books/memes, and much much more. The goal of the TVT Takeover is to give groups the opportunity to share a bit of who they are as groups and individuals and present "their" TVT to the readers of the Tar Valon Times, both within TarValon.Net and beyond.

The [[Tar Valon Times Editor]] is responsible for the publishing of the Tar Valon Times, and all content within. They also guide and manage both the staff within the team and guest writers from within the TarValon.Net community.

[[Aleita Taviah|Aleita]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2006. She was raised to Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah in 2009. Aleita has served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times, Outreach Activities Team, City Council and the Department of Community Outreach. She has also served as a moderator, a Sitter in the Hall, Mistress of Revels (South Pacific), and has taught in the Classroom. Aleita has served her Ajah as Heart, Head Green Monkey, and as a Green Monkey and Ibis. Aleita hopes that through her work as Editor of the Tar Valon Times that she can foster an engaged and motivated team who will help bring the Tar Valon Times to a wider audience. Aleita became the Editor of the Tar Valon Times on September 1, 2020.

The [[Tar Valon Times Assistant Editor]] is responsible for writing, proofing and archiving for the Tar Valon Times. They also help to support the TVT Staff Team in the creation of their pieces.

[[Jahily al'Karee|Jahily]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2012. She is currently a Novice, and recently finished her term as Mayor of TarValon.Net. Jahily first served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times from 2013-2014. She co-taught the Citizen's Class in July-August 2020; and has previously served as part of the Welcoming Committee and Friendly Face Team. Jahily became Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times on December 2, 2020; and Editor on April 2, 2021.

[[Tar Valon Times Staff|TVT Staff Members]] are eligible for the [[Reporter Merit]] (Silver and Gold) based on how many articles/art pieces they create for the Tar Valon Times not the amount of time served.

Salutations! The Yellow Ajah welcomes you to our Headquarters!

In the world of Robert Jordan, the Yellow Ajah was dedicated to Healing through the use of the One Power.
Here on TarValon.net we are also dedicated to healing, although in different ways. Our paths to that dedication are as myriad
as the women that make up this cozy and eclectic group. Our passionate nature allows us to include all who visit with us - guests, Aspirants, as well as our Gaidin. As Yellow is a Healing Ajah, we have among us those trained in actual medical professions and those involved in alternative and complementary medicine. However, the healing and nurturing part goes beyond that, and so we have a good number of people that are the rock in the storm and the shoulder to lean on for many.

[[Aleita Taviah|Aleita]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2006. She was raised to Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah in 2009. Aleita has served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times, Outreach Activities Team, City Council and the Department of Community Outreach. She has also served as a moderator, a Sitter in the Hall, Mistress of Revels (South Pacific), and has taught in the Classroom. Aleita has served her Ajah as Heart, Head Green Monkey, and as a Green Monkey and Ibis. Aleita hopes that through her work as Editor of the Tar Valon Times that she can foster an engaged and motivated team who will help bring the Tar Valon Times to a wider audience. Aleita became the Editor of the Tar Valon Times on September 1, 2020.

[[Jahily al'Karee|Jahily]] has been a member of TarValon.Net since 2012. She is currently a Novice, and recently finished her term as Mayor of TarValon.Net. Jahily first served as a staff member for the Tar Valon Times from 2013-2014. She co-taught the Citizen's Class in July-August 2020; and has previously served as part of the Welcoming Committee and Friendly Face Team. Jahily became Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times on December 2, 2020.
