Nynaeve first appears in first episode Leavetaking. She is a [[Wisdom (TV Series)|Wisdom]] of [[Emond's Field (TV Series)|Emond's Field]]. Her first appearance is during a ceremony that she leads [[Egwene al'Vere (TV Series)|Egwene]] through.
During the evening celebration for Egwene, Nynaeve meets [[Moiraine Damodred (TV Series)|Moiraine]] and [[Lan Mandragoran (TV Series)|Lan]]. The next day Moiraine confronts Nynaeve and asks about her birth and how she ended up being raised in Emond's Field. She questions how Nynaeve has managed to become a Wisdom at such a young age. Nynaeve defends her ability to take care of her people.

Later, Nynaeve teaches Egwene how to listen to the wind, but cannot explain to Egwene the meaning of what they hear.

That night, during the [[Bel Tine (TV Series)| Bel Tine]] celebration the village is attacked by [[Trolloc (TV Series)|Trollocs]]. Nynaeve is dragged off during the attack and everyone believes her dead.

Nynaeve next appears at the end of second episode [[Shadow's Waiting]] when she surprises Lan by catching him off guard and demands to be taken to the others.

At the start of Episode 3 [[A Place of Safety]] we see Nynaeve escape the Trolloc while it is busy fighting with another. Nynaeve runs to the pool that is used during the ceremony when a woman is accepted into the [[Womens' Circle (TV Series)|Womens' Circle]]. Here Nynaeve fights the Trolloc and kills it.

She then tracks the others until she catches up with Lan and Moiraine.

Lan asks Nynaeve to help Moiraine who is suffering from the wound she received during the attack on Emond's Field. Lan manages to disarm Nynaeve and subdue her and tie her up.

Nyneave agrees to help Moiraine thinking that is the only way she can get the information about the whereabouts of the other Two Rivers folk.

In order to help Moiraine, Lan takes the three of them to a group of [[Aes Sedai (TV Series)|Aes Sedai]] who were taking a false [[Dragon Reborn (TV Series)|Dragon]] to the [[White Tower (TV Series)|White Tower]]. Here Nynaeve meets other Aes Sedai and [[Warder (TV Series)|Warders]]. She spends her evenings with the Warders and Lan during the voyage to [[Tar Valon (TV Series)|Tar Valon]]. An Aes Sedai of the [[Red Ajah (TV Series)|Red Ajah]] called [[Liandrin Guirale (TV Series)|Liandrin]] expresses an interest in Nynaeve and her connection to Moiraine. Liandrin tells Nynaeve what Red Ajah stands for, and also tells her about the [[Blue Ajah (TV Series)|Blue Ajah]]

During the voyage and her evenings with the Warders, Nynaeve questions the bond between an Aes Sedai and her Warder, likening Warders to servants. The Warders set her straight about her misconception and explain to her the meaning of Aes Sedai.

The army following the False Dragon [[Logain Ablar (TV Series)|Logain]] attacks the Aes Sedai camp. Logain breaks free and attacks the Aes Sedai keeping him captive. During the battle many Aes Sedai and Warders are injured including Moiraine and Lan. When Nynaeve sees Lan mortally wounded emotions overwhelm her and she manages to touch the [[One Power (TV Series)| One Power]], and she heals all the wounded in the cave.

After they arrive to Tar Valon, Lan and Moiraine settle Nynaeve in the Warders quarters and ask her to keep hidden. They tell her that the other sisters will want her to become a [[Novice (TV Series)|Novice]] as she is so powerful. Moiraine tells her that her life will now change after she has [[Channel (TV Series)|Channelled]] for the first time. She promises Nynaeve that she will protect her and bring her to the others once she's found them.

While in the Tower [[Loial (TV Series)|Loial]] finds Nynaeve in the gardens and brings her to [[Rand al'Thor (TV Series)|Rand]] and [[Matrim Cauthon (TV Series)|Mat]] in the Inn. Nynaeve tries to heal Mat who seems to be very ill.

Nynaeve reunites with Egwene, and both are brought in front of the [[Amyrlin Seat (TV Series)|Amyrling Seat]] [[Siuan Sanche (TV Series)|Siuan Sanche]]. Siuan tells Nynaeve that she is the most powerful Channeler that they've seen in a thousand years. Nynaeve thinks that all the flattery is a mask for something that Siuan Sanche will ask from them. Siuan Sanche tells Nynaeve and Egwene that the [[Last Battle (TV Series)|Last Battle]] is coming.

Nynaeve and the other Two Rivers folk forllow Moiraine, Lan and Loial through the [[Ways (TV Series)|Ways]] to [[Fal Dara (TV Series)|Fal Dara]].

In Fal Dara, Nynaeve follows Lan, and joins him and his friends for dinner. They spend the night together. Afterwards Nynaeve asks him why they've called him Dai Shan. She finds out that he is uncrowned king of [[Malkier (TV Series)|Malkier]].

In the morning they find out that Rand and Moiraine have left for the [[Eye of the World (TV Series)|Eye of the World]]. Nynaeve tells Lan that it was not him that she tracked but Moiraine, and that Moiraine has a tell which she will tell him if he wants to go after her.

Trollocs attack Fal Dara and Nynaeve and Egwene join the defence of the city by joining in a circle with the other channelers. Nynaeve burns herself out with the other women. Egwene heals her.

While out on the boat she [[Channel (TV Series)|Channels]] in order to help her father. When they come back to their house they find it burnt down with a sign, the [[Dragon's Fang (TV Series)|Dragon's Fang]] drawn on their door. Her father decides to send Siuan to the [[White Tower (TV Series)|White Tower]] as she is no longer safe with him.

Next time we see Siuan she is the [[Amyrlin Seat (TV Series)| Amyrlin Seat]]. Siuan Sanche first appears in Episode 6 [[The Flame of Tar Valon]]. Her story starts in the past while she is a young girl, living humbly with her father and working with him on his fishing boat. While out on the boat she [[Channel (TV Series)|Channels]] in order to help her father. When they come back to their house they find it burnt down with a sign, the [[Dragon's Fang (TV Series)|Dragon's Fang]] drawn on their door. Her father decides to send Siuan to the [[White Tower (TV Series)|White Tower]] as she is no longer safe with him.

Next time we see Siuan she is the [[Amyrlin Seat (TV Series)| Amyrlin Seat]]. [[Moiraine Damodred (TV Series)|Moiraine]] and the Aes Sedai who accompanied [[Logain Ablar (TV Series)| Logain]] the False [[Dragon (TV Series)|Dragon]] back to [[Tar Valon (TV Series)|Tar Valon]] were summoned to answer for their actions. Logain is presented to the Amyrlin. During the evening celebration for Egwene, Nynaeve meets [[Moiraine Damodred (TV Series)|Moiraine]] and [[Lan Mandragoran (TV Series)|Lan]]. The next day Moiraine confronts Nynaeve and asks about her birth and how she ended up being raised in Emond's Field. She questions how Nynaeve has managed to become a Wisdom at such a young age. Nynaeve defends her ability to take care of her people.

Later, Nynaeve teaches Egwene how to listen to the wind, but cannot explain to Egwene the meaning of what they hear.

That night, during the [[Bel Tine (TV Series)| Bel Tine]] celebration the village is attacked by [[Trolloc (TV Series)|Trollocs]]. Nynaeve is dragged off during the attack and everyone believes her dead.

Nynaeve next appears at the end of second episode Shadow's Waiting when she surprises Lan by catching him off guard and demands to be taken to the others.

Days later Moiraine tells Egwene that she's been summoned in front of [[Amyrlin Seat]]. Egwene finds out that Nyanaeve is alive and they are both introduced to [[Siuan Sanche]]. Siuan tells them that [[the Last Battle]] is coming and Egwene, more accepting of her ability to channel, asks what it is that they need to do. Siuan thanks Egwene for her braveery in brining the rings of fallen Aes Sedai back.

Egwene and the group, now including Nynaeve and [[Loial]], follow Moiraine out of the White Tower. Moiraine tells the group that they will travel through [[the Ways]] in order to arrive to [[the Eye of the World]] in an effort to stop the Dark One. The group, except Mat, follows Moiraine inside the Ways.

While in the Ways the group is attacked and defending herself Egwene channels which appears to draw attention of [[Machin Shin]]. Coming out of the Ways the group arrives to fortress city of [[Fal Dara]].

In Fal Dara Egwene tries to convince the group to go to the Eye of the World because it is the right thing to do. Nynaeve insinuates that Perrin has feelings for Egwene, and he and Rand fight over her. Rand and Egwene make up and he tells her that she should go to the White Tower and become Aes Sedai.

The next morning Nynaeve apologieses to Egwene. Egwene, Nynaeve and Perrin discuss if they should go to the Eye of the World and agree that they should. When Lan notifies them that Moiraine masked their bond, the group realises that Rand and Moiraine must have left for the Eye in the night.

Later in the day the Trollocs attack and Egwene and Nynaeve are called to help defend the city as channelers.
