The Fingers of the Dragon is a vast delta in [[Tear (Nation)|Tear]] where the [[Erinin]] flows into the [[Sea of Storms]] ({{tsr|2}}). Many fishermen work there ({{tsr|2}}) and Tear uses prisoners to clear the silt and keep the water free ({{tsr|50}}). 

According to Tear law, no ship is allowed to sail in or out of the city through the Fingers of the Dragon without a Tairen pilot on board ({{tsr|20}}). However, after the execution of [[Nesta]], [[Sea Folk]] ships in large numbers sailed though them to [[Tear (City)|Tear]] without pilots ({{wh|9}}).
