The Mirror of Mists is the name [[Lews Therin]] gives to a [[Weaves|weave]] that [[Aes Sedai]] can use to make themselves seem much larger than they really are ({{loc|49}}). When [[Demira]] and the others go to tell [[Rand]] that they will no longer accept his restrictions, they spin it on themselves, impressing him somewhat until he shatters it with a weave of spirit, earth, and air, almost as if [[shielding]] ({{loc|49}}). [[Moiraine]] also uses it, when leaving Baerlon, to intimidate the [[Whitecloaks]] ({{teotw|17}}).
