Barriga is a merchant who was due to visit Heeth Tower before the Trolloc attack (ToM, Prologue). He survives the encounter, though his men do not, and escapes to the Blight, where he is set upon by what appear to be Aiel but with red veils and sharpened teeth (ToM, Epilogue).
