Snert is the innkeeper of the Grand Hike in Caemlyn. He is missing several teeth, an eye and most of his hair. Mat considers him the ugliest man he has ever seen, but Birgitte thinks he is the best looking man in the place and is quite attractive, or would be if he were younger and someone broke his nose in a few places.
He brews his own beer to sell to his customers.
