General
Mareil is one of the First Twelve Wavemistresses of the Atha'an Miere. She is tall and slender with shoulder-length hair that is as much white as black. She has a deep but melodious voice for a woman.
Her Windfinder is Tebrelle din Gelyn South Wind.
She has been friends with Harine din Togara Two Winds since they both began as deckhands. They are both the lowest in seniority among the Wavemistresses.
She was called to a meeting of the First Twelve and their Windfinders with Logain. Cemeille din Selaan Long Eyes arrives and tells them the sad story of the Amayar's death.
