Kodam was a young Aes Sedai during the Breaking of the World.
He was one of the male Aes Sedai barely affected by the taint on saidin, and thus Solinda, Oselle, Deindre and some other female Aes Sedai cooperated with him and others in the creating of the Eye of the World.
