Melten

Unless stated otherwise, all information herein is taken from A Memory of Light, Prologue.

Melten is soldier in the Band of the Red Hand. He is likely a Borderlander, though he dresses like an Andoran. After Talmanes takes a wound from a Thakan'dar forged blade, he give him Blisterleaf to slow the progress of the taint as well as Shienaran brandy. He offers to kill Talmanes when the pain grows too much and calls him Dreadbane, a Borderland title for one who has slain a Myrddraal.
