When were you raised to Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah?

Why did you choose Blue?

I found the Blue Ajah to be a place where I could be myself and have a great time with an amazing group of ladies! Blue just fits me!

Are you like the Blues in the Books?

In some ways--I definitely have causes I am passionate about and tend to be quite determined and ambitious...but I'm not so focused on my goals to the point that I will hurt the people I care about in the name of a cause.

Do you plot and manipulate? Do you travel a lot?

I suppose...sometimes it's definitely necessary! Or at least makes some things easier! And I do travel quite a bit, but not far distances--that will be to come in the near future, hopefully!

How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?

Very enjoyable! Had a lot of fun in the early days with the Tower Muses, which was a group I co-founded dedicated to artistic persuits. Got in a bit of trouble, got to play with "Lil Faile"...that was a loooong time ago!

How long have you been a member of TV.net?

Over seven years now! Since November 2, 2002 :)

What things do you do for TV.net?

I have served as a Sitter (for the Browns), have taught classes, including battle classes back in the day, and have mentored. Looking to up my involvement again!

How did you get to read the Series?

It was 2001: I had just finished the Coldfire Trilogy and was looking for something new. The cover of EotW caught my eye...I was not impressed by the art, but I noticed how many books were in the series, and figured I'd check it out. After the first book, I was hooked!

To whom are you bonded, if you are bonded?

NA.

Who is your mentee, if you have one?

None currently, but Aintza was my last one!

Who's your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?

I find myself liking Egwene more and more each book--strong and gutsy, yet wise and caring. Favorite nation...probably the Aiel, if they can count as a nation!

Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)

I have not attended any formal functions, but will be attending the 9th Anniversary in Wisconsin Dells!

What kind of music do you like?

I really like some of everything, but more usually obscure foreign music! Some of my favorite artists/groups are Air, Maino, Jay-Z, the Beatles, Gogol Bordello, Thievery Corporation, the Bambi Molesters...and I do enjoy classical quite a bit.

What are your favorite movies?

Too many! A random sampling: 10th Kingdom, Amelie, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Some Like It Hot, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Devil Wears Prada, Hook, and Princess Mononoke.

What's the craziest/stupidest thing you've ever done?

I plead the fifth :)

What job do you have?

I'm an environmental scientist--I get to use my skills in botany, critical thinking, and writing on a daily basis!

Do you have a pet?

Not yet!

What languages do you speak?

English and non-fluent Spanish

What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a doctor, then a fashion designer, then a chiropractor, then actress, then English teacher--went through a lot of interests!

A short bio about yourself.

I'm Jennie, a 23 year old environmental scientist who enjoys life! I particularly enjoy hanging out with friends, photography, nature, hiking, reading, 1990's video games, music, and...PLANTS! I love plants :) Not keeping and growing them, but learning about them, their habitats in nature, their history, everything. I hope to obtain my Ph.D. in Botany one day!
