Bonds Held by Women

Adelorna Bastine, bonded to Talric

Alanna Mosvani, bonded to Ihvon, Owein and Rand al'Thor

Alanna had two Warders, Ihvon and Owein.

When Alanna arrived in the Two Rivers (The Shadow Rising), Owein was killed by Whitecloaks, and Alanna said, "I felt every arrow that struck him until he died. I felt him die" (TSR, Ch. 31).

Ihvon saved Perrin's life when battling Trollocs as they ambushed them in Waterwood.

When Alanna arrived in Caemlyn, with girls from the Two Rivers who could channel, Rand al'Thor went to visit them. Here, Alanna bonded him against his will (LoC, Ch. 10), something not done for hundreds of years, and frowned upon by most Aes Sedai. When Rand bonded Elayne, Min and Aviendha (WH, Ch. 12) Alanna fell unconscious.

Anaiya, bonded to Setagana

Anaiya is an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah, and is a warm, caring woman.

Asne Zeramene, bonded to Powl

Both Asne and Powl are Darkfriends. The bond was masked when Asne left the Tower with Liandrin. Although her Gaidin would do anything for her, she masked her bond to all four Warders. Asne has now unmasked the bond with Powl (WH, Ch. 10).

The names of Asne other three Gaidin are not known. However, all three are sworn to the Light.

Beonin Marinye, bonded to Tervail Dura

Beonin is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah.

Beldeine Nyram, bonded to Karldin Manfor

Beldeine is a young green and Karldin her first warder. She is probably eight to ten years older than him

Careane Fransi, bonded to Cieryl Arjuna, Tavan and Venr Kosaan

Careane is an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She is also Black Ajah and killed by Vandene for murdering her sister.

Corele Hovian, bonded to Damer Flinn

After the attack on Rand in the Sun Palace, Damer was listed as a diserter and didnt know where to go. Corele, an Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah, bonded him mainly for protection.

Demira Eriff bonded to Stevan

Demira is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah.

Daigian Moseneillin, bonded to Eben Hopwil

Daigian is an Aes Sedai of low strength and a member of the White Ajah with impeccable logic.

She bonded Eben, who was killed by Halima near Shadar Logoth.

Eldrith Jhondar bonded to Kennit

Eldrith is an Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah. Kennit is sworn to the Light and has sworn to kill his Aes Sedai, no matter the affects that this will have on him.

Eldrith has masked her bond to Kennit, and is now in Caemlyn, waiting for something to do.

Elayne Trakand, bonded to Birgitte Silverbow and Rand al'Thor

When Birgitte was ripped from Tel'aran'rhiod by Moghedien (TFoH, Ch. 35) she was doomed to die. To save her life, Elayne bonded Birgitte without her permission, but Birgitte stills repects the bond and is higly protective of Elayne.

When returning to Andor, Elayne gave Birgitte a title, estate, and made her the Captain-General of the Queen Quards.

Birgitte may be the first female Warder ever.

After confessing his love for Elayne, Rand allowed her to bond him (Winters Heart) and that night they spent the night together - much to Birgitte's displeasure. Elayne now carries Rand's twins.

Elza Penfell, bonded to Fearil

Elza is an Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah and many people think that she is married to her Warder.

As she is supposedly of the Green Ajah, some Aes Sedai find it strange that she has only ever bonded one Warder at a time.

Erian Boroleos, bonded to Bartol and Rashan

Up until Dumai's Wells, Erian has four Warders. During Rand's escape, he killed two of them, leaving Bartol and Rashan as her only remaining Warders.

Hattori bonded to Sleete

She will only bond another if Sleete judges him worthy (TGS, Ch. 13).

Joline Maza, bonded to Blaeric Negina and Fen Mizar

Blaeric is a Shienaran and Fen is Saldaean. They are both loyal to Joline and are currently helping her escape the Seanchan.

Kerene Nagashi, bonded to Stepin amd Karile

It is assumed that they were murdered by the Black Ajah along with their Aes Sedai.

Leane Sharif, bonded to Anjen

Leane's Warder has been dead for fifteen years (LoC, Ch. 30). It took her a year to get over his death and due to the pain, she has not yet bonded another.

However, she now thinks she could manage three or four.

Lelaine Akashi, bonded to Burin Shaeren

Lelaine is an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah.

Magla Daronos bonded to Rorik

Masuri Sokawa, bonded to Rovair Kirklin

Masuri is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah, and has great knowledge about Darkhounds.

She is now an apprentice Wise One.

Meidani, bonded to Leonin

Meidani is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah.

Merana Ambrey, bonded to Basan

Merana is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah and her last Warder was Basan.

Merise Haindehl, bonded to Bassane, Nethan and Jahar Narishma

Merise is said to have a strange relationship with her Warders but keeps them content.

Merise has also bonded a Dedicated named Jahar Narishma. Merise keeps him on a tight leash and is bonded to him mainly for protection (CoT, Ch. 23).

Morvrin, bonded to Jori

Morvrin is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah and Jori is a very wide Warder.

Moiraine Damodred, bonded to al'Lan Mandragoran

Moiraine bonded Lan in 978 NE (NS, Epilogue). They were sworn to search for the Dragon Reborn, Rand al'Thor.

They turn up in the Two Rivers (TEotW, Ch. 2). After the Trolloc attack, they lead Rand al'Thor, Mat Cauthon and Perrin Aybara out of the Two Rivers.

When Moiraine followed Rand into the Aiel Waste, she was told that if Lan had not come to the Aiel Waste, Moiraine would have died. Similarly, if Moiraine had not gone to the Aiel Waste, Lan would have died (TSR, Ch. 23).

Moiraine and Lan traveled together until they reached Cairhien. In Cairhien, Moiraine vanished battling Lanfear, and Lan's bond was passed to Myrelle Berengari.

Myrelle Berengari, bonded to Avar Hachami, Croi Makin, Nuhel Dromand, al'Lan Mandragoran and Llyw

It is thought that Myrelle could be married to any three of her Warders, if not all of them (ACoS, Ch. 12).

Avar has dark penetrating eyes and a gray mustache. Croi is possibly Myrelle's youngest Warder, and is an Andoran. He is slender with yellow hair. Nuhel is an Illianer and described as "dark and bulky, with a beard that left his upper lip bare" (ACoS, Ch. 12).

Avar and Nuhel were previously bonded to sisters who have died (ACoS, Ch. 12).

After Moiraine entered the Wise One ter'angreal in Rhuidean, she realized that she may die. In the event of her death, she did something that had not been done in four hundred years. Her bond to Lan would be passed on to Myrelle, so that Lan might survive her death. Moiraine made Lan promise not to try to avenge her death. Moiraine's bond is broken and it passes to Myrelle (TFoH, Ch. 52).

Myrelle has bonded Warders who have lost their Aes Sedai before, and they have lived longer than other Warders. Myrelle swore fealty to Egwene because Egwene promised to keep Lan's bond passing a secret (ACoS, Ch. 12).

Nynaeve now has the intention of making Myrelle hand over the bond as soon as possible (ACoS, Ch. 31).

Nisao Dachen, bonded to Sarin Hoigan

Nisao is an Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah.

Rafela Cindal, bonded to Mahiro Shukosa

Rafela is an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah and has sworn fealty to Rand.

Mahiro is a handsome man and is a Kandori lord. Mahiro showed friendship to Min when on the embassy to Rand.

Rina Hafden, bonded to Elyas Machera and Waylin

Rina is an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah, and is bonded to Elyas and Waylin.

When it was discovered that Elyas could talk to wolves, Aes Sedai wanted to watch, and try to gentle him. Due to this he ran away and joined Dapple's pack of wolves. The bond is now masked.

Samitsu Tamagowa, bonded to Roshan

Samitsu wasn't keen on her Warder first, but now she has settled.

Sareitha Tomares, bonded to Ned Yarman

Ned is a young and has only recently been bonded to Sareitha. Ned carries out Sareitha's wishes with passion and is unquestioning.

Sarene Nemdahl, bonded to Vitalien

Sarene is an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah.

Seonid Traighan, bonded to Furen Alharra and Teryl Wynter

Furen is twenty years older that Teryl.

Sheriam Bayanar, bonded to Arinvar

It is not known how long they have been bonded, although Arinvar has a hard face and gray hair at his temples.

Siuan Sanche, bonded to Alric and Gareth Bryne

Before Alric's death (TSR, Ch. 47) Siuan and Alric had been bonded for twenty years. Siuan sometimes had to send him great distances away from her and he never complained. After his death, she bonded Gareth at his insistance (TGS, Ch. 40).
