Asra Zigane

General

Asra is a Kinswoman from Arad Doman. She wore the red belt of a Wise Woman in Ebou Dar. She looks to be no older than Nynaeve and her copper skin proves her origin. She has a strong Talent for Healing, although she is not strong enough in the One Power to be tested for Accepted (LoC, Ch. 52).

Timeline

• After a knife fight between two men in the Rahad, Asra tries to Heal the dying man, but she was too late and kills him in the process. She tells the victor to inform the dead man's wife (LoC, Ch. 52).

• Asra is at the farm when Elayne and her party arrive (TPoD, Ch. 4) and Travels with them to Caemlyn when the Seanchan attack (TPoD, Ch. 6).

• When Kirstian Chalwin and Zarya Alkaese are discovered to be runaway novices, Sarainya and Asra are not at all content with turning to Kinswomen over to the White Tower and propose to stand against the Aes Sedai. They are quieted by Alise and Reanne with an order to cut themselves a switch that is to be used later that day (TPoD, Ch. 28).
