Astelle al'Seen is an old woman from the Two Rivers.
She has white hair, a bent back, and dark eyes.
Perrin thinks to himself that Astelle uses her walking stick to hit people out of her way more often than she uses it to walk with.
When Perrin arrives at Jac al'Seen's farm on his way to Watch Hill to free the Cauthons and Luhhans, he sees Astelle. Although her relationship to Jac al'Seen is not mentioned, it can be assumed from her name and the fact that she is at his farm that she is either his mother or an aunt.
When Astelle sees Perrin, she pokes him with her walking stick.

"Wil was not the only one to look askance at his eyes, of course. It seemed that everyone, young or old, male or female, gave a start the first time they met his gaze. Old Mistress al'Seen poked him with her stick, and her dark old eyes widened in surprise when he grunted. Maybe she thought he was not real. Nobody said anything, though."
