General
Dalar is an Ogier woman who spent ten years outside the stedding with the Sea Folk; Loial tells Rand that Dalar returned safely home (TGH, Ch. 35). Elder Haman tells Rand that Dalar was not completely unharmed by such a long stay outside the stedding -- she had to use a walking stick for the rest of her life, though she did continue to write (LoC, Ch. 20).
