General

Within the Membership structure at TarValon.net there are several ranks

Citizens

The TarValon.Net Membership Manual contains additional information on this topic.

Within the TarValon.net community, there are several different levels of membership. The first is citizen, which has several purposes, firstly for members who didn't want to be incredibly involved with the community and also to gibe people a chance to figure out whether or not they wanted to fully join the Tower, and to help Administrators reduce the amount of work which proved unnecessary, we the rank of Citizen was created. Citizens have access to the main part of the boards, are eligible to be moderators in some forums and can attend Tower Events.

Junior Members

The TarValon.Net Membership Manual contains additional information on this topic.

The levels of Novice and Recruit are the first in Tower membership. Upon obtaining Tower membership, the member must remain at this level for a period of at least twelve weeks before taking the test to become Accepted/Soldier. Members should realize that this is a bare minimum time requirement; many remain at this level for considerably longer. A member reading The Wheel of Time series for the first time will not be able to submit his or her name for advancement from this level until they have finished reading all the books in the main story arc that have been released (books 1-11). Reading New Spring and The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time as well is recommended but is not required.

Senior members

The TarValon.Net Membership Manual contains additional information on this topic.

A Senior Member is anyone who has earned the title of Aes Sedai or Gaidin at our community. These people have worked hard, gone through several examinations by the Hall, and passed two sets of tests. They have shown themselves to be dedicated to our community and have integrated themselves fully.
