Kyria d'Oreyn
General
Dermon was a Jenn Aiel during the building of Rhuidean. He was a gaunt, white-haired man with blue eyes and a strong voice. As all the Aiel, he was tall, with a sun-darkened face, and dressed in the same fashion except for the veil. He merely carried a belt knife and no other weapon.
He was accompanied by Mordaine and Narisse to the sept chief's meeting at Rhuidean, where he spoke for Rhuidean and the Jenn. He asked the sept chiefs why they carried no swords, but they did not know, then told them whoever wanted to lead among the Aiel had to come to Rhuidean to be tested and to learn why they carried no swords.
