Eldrin Hackly is a man who Deni Colford knew before she became one of the Andoran Queen’s Guards. Deni describes him as “a big wagon man”.
He is not usually a rough man, but one night he was very drunk and came near to breaking Deni’s neck. Deni tried to fight back, but she could not seem to get the right angle with her cudgel, which kept bouncing off Eldrin’s skull without making a dent. It scared Deni, because she thought that she was going to die.
