General
Farede was a Panarch of Tarabon, which was formed after the War of the Hundred Years, and publisher and promoter of the current Farede Calendar. He attempted to make Tanchico the intellectual capital of the known world which the calendar, devised by Urin din Jubai Soaring Gull, was part of.
One point of interest is that, although Farede is named the Panarch, the Panarch is, at least in current times, always female.
