Gerra Kishar was an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. She was raised to the Amyrlin Seat in the year 601 NE, and held the position until her death in 638 NE (The World of Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time").

Gerra was a very strong Amyrlin. She raised the prestige of the White Tower to levels seldom equaled since Artur Hawkwing. She controlled the Tower by skillfully playing one faction against another in the Hall (The Path of Daggers, Chapter 15).

Siuan thinks that Egwene wants to be another Gerra Kishar or Sereille Bagand (The Path of Daggers, Chapter 15). Egwene can't help but wonder whether she will be a strong Amyrlin, like Gerra, or a weak one, like Shein Chunla (The Path of Daggers, Chapter 19).
