Hessalam, "without forgiveness" in the [[Old Tongue]], is the [[forsaken]] [[Graendal]] reborn into a new body. She has  hooked bulbous nose and off center eyes. [[Moghedien]] thinks the body was probably chosen as punishment as Graendal was obsessed with beauty. When they are told that [[Mazrim Taim]] is now the Chosen M'Hael, she is the only one to voice an objection.
