The hundred companions was he name given to a group of one hundred and thirteen male Aes Sedai who accompanied Lews Therin when he struck at the Bore. As there were no female Aes Sedai to link, it is not known how the seals were placed. Forty-five of them were killed in the strike and the remainder went mad from the Dark One's taint on saidin
