Ivonell Bharatiya was a scholar from before the Trolloc Wars. She wrote of "hounds born of the Shadow, in numbers like unto the nightmares of mankind." Masuri cites this as she tells Perrin and the others of the Darkhounds outside his camp, but she doubts the source as well as the existance of Ivonell herself.
