General
Janwin is the clan chief of the Shiande Aiel. He has a creased, fierce-looking face, gray hair and blue-gray eyes. He is married (ACoS, Ch18).
Rhuarc tells Rand that Janwin will eventually join him (TFoH, Ch2).
He is undecided what he should make out of Rand's disappearance - that he has abandoned the Aiel or has been betrayed (ACoS, Ch3).
He discusses what to do about the Shaido with Mandelain, Indirian and Rand (ACoS, Ch18).
