Jidar is a Saldaean soldier who has been mentioned briefly by Underlieutenant Vilnar Barada in "Lord of Chaos".
He accompanies Barada on his patrol through Caemlyn.
He believes that Aes Sedai are so beautiful they can kill a man by smiling.
