Juranai is an Aiel warrior. He is the leader of the Aethon Dor (Red Shields) society.
He is described to be "spear-slender", and has a few streaks of white in his pale brown hair.
Juranai, Heirn, Mangin and Roidan sometimes join Rand in practicing the Aiel way of the fighting without weapons since leaving the Jangai Pass. Rand thinks that he could have been friends with any of the four, if he had time for making new friends.
When Rand goes to check out the telescopes that Kin Tovere is setting up outside of Cairhien, Juranai is one of the Aiel who accompanies him.
