For this month we’ll be interviewing Venric Methalion, Gaidin of Mahdi'in d'ma Dieb. Venric has been an active member of TarValon for some time, attending a large number of Tower events and even getting the Keeper Award for Staff Member of the Year in 2012.

Interview Questions
Have you modded any games at Tar Valon? If so, what ones?
I modded the South Park game. Damn dirty hippies took the win home on that one.
What is your favourite game that you have played here?
I haven't played too many, but probably the Archer game. My goal was to try and play using only quotes from the show, but eventually I had to step up and actually contribute. Couldn't risk everyone's favorite fox-eared ***hole being taken out of the game too early. I did unofficially win the game twice before I died, though.
Do you prefer to be town or mafia?
Honestly, I don't really care either way. I try to play the same regardless of alignment, so it's harder for others to read me. I probably play better as town, since I only rely on my own information and don't risk tripping up any teammates by crossing strategies or intel.
What is your favourite role?
Bulletproof is nice, because it lets you be a bit more vocal without worrying too much about being taken out early. You just have to be sure to contribute enough that the townies don't risk lynching you.
Who is your favourite person to lynch and why?
I don't really have a favorite, so I guess I'll go with Stasia t'Andrei because she keeps ending up being mafia in games I play and flies under my radar every time.
Mafia tidbits of the month:
FoS – Finger of Suspicion. Used in the context of “FoS Barmacral”. This term simply means that you are very suspicious of a certain player, usually for a specific reason though not necessarily always. A common mafia term elsewhere, it is the same as bolding names here on TarValon.Net.
Rand – Random. Used in the context of “Barmacral probably rand scum”. This term is very confusing, but means that the randomizer picked by the mod probably randomized the player mentioned to the role mentioned. In the case of the example, it is saying I was probably randomly assigned to be scum. There is little to no benefit to this terminology in the game.
Deep Wolf – Used in the context of “Barmacral is probably Deep Wolf”. Wolf being an alternative word for scum or mafia (a common name for mafia is Werewolf) this means that the person in question is generally considered innocent by most or all of the game, but is actually scum. In the above example the person is suggesting that I am appearing very innocent and unlikely to be lynched, but am probably scum.
