Mair is an Accepted of the White Tower.

She is from Arafel; she is plump and has blue eyes

Mair was a novice when Egwene first came to the Tower, and was jealous of Egwene's quick rise to Accepted.

Once Egwene is a prisoner in the White Tower, many of the Accepted try to overwhelm her with orders. To the Accepted, Egwene is just the novice who thinks that she is the Amyrlin Seat. Mair and Asseil, who is also jealous of Egwene, especially try to order her around; with them, every second sentence seems to be to "fetch that" or "carry this there". Egwene refuses to obey the commands of all of the Accepted, which earns her more visits to Silviana's study, but when the Accepted realize that sending her to the Mistress of Novices is having no effect, their commands dwindle away and they no longer know what to do with her. Egwene thinks to herself that even Asseil and Mair were not trying to be mean; they were only trying to act as they thought an Accepted should (KoD, Ch. 24). She was attending Elaida during the Seanchan raid and was covered with rubble when they broke into her room. She survives and tells Saerin that Elaida has been taken (TGS, Ch. 41).
