Marah is a novice of the White Tower.
She is from Murandy. She is stocky and has mischievous blue eyes. Egwene thinks that she cannot be more than fifteen or sixteen years old.
As a prisoner in the Tower, many of the novices and Accepted come to respect Egwene and ask her for advice. One day, Egwene overhears Nicola talking with two other novices, Marah and Namene; apparently, they have questions that they want answers to, because Nicola tells them to ask Egwene.
