Mayv Gilyard was the guardian of Branlet, the young High Seat of House Gilyard, until her recent death.
She liked to go out riding alone. One day while riding, her horse stepped into a gopher hole. By the time anyone found her, it was too late. House Gilyard has been arguing for three months on who is to take her place.
