It is time, once more, for a member interview! This time around our subject is Roheryn Galghandhrei, Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah, and current Heart of the Green Ajah. She has been a member of the site since April 26, 2011, and has been a member of the Tower since November 30th of that year.

She has been an active member of the forum the while, contributing as a member of the friendly face team and Welcoming Committee. She was Head of the Green, and has been an organizer of Green information, helping organize their photobucket, newsletter, and the like, at various times.

Here she is, in her own words:

What brought you to the White Tower?

I'd found out about the forum a few years before I joined, but finding a humanoid avatar that I was satisfied with and figuring out a last name seemed too complicated at the time. When the forum that I was super active on was closing, I remembered TarValon.Net and here I am.

What made you want to stick around?

The atmosphere and the people I met.

When did you know you were Green?

I knew I was Green very early on. I had a feeling before I joined the Tower, based on the descriptions in the Library of the site Ajahs, but once I did start Guesting I knew very early on.

What was your experience guesting like?

I enjoyed Guesting and getting to know more people from all of the Ajahs. I Guested Green last, knowing that I wouldn't want to leave. I was surprised with one or two of the other places that I thought I could have ended up if Green wasn't around.

What do you think of Integration?

I think it needed to happen, and I'm glad that it has. I hope some day to be able to welcome a male Green Sedai home.

What is your favorite Tower memory?

My favorite memory is being Raised live to Aes Sedai at Michigan Anni with a ton of Greens in attendance.

Do you have a favorite Tower event you have been to? Why?

My favorite is just about any Anni. I love the format and spending an entire weekend with Tower folk. I might say this past Anni, only because it is freshest in my memory.

What do you think you bring to the Green Ajah? What would they miss if you left?

I like to think that I bring a good bit of sarcasm to the Green Ajah and that, as a whole, the forum would be a little less sarcastic if I left.

If the Tower vanished tomorrow, what would you miss the most?

I would miss the ease of getting in contact with people and being able to set up and go to live events.

What positions have you held on the site? Which one was your favorite?

I've worked for the OATS team, I've been on the Welcome Committee and a member of the Friendly Face team, I've been Sitter and Head of the Green Ajah. Currently, I am the Heart of the Green Ajah. I think my favorite so far has been Captain-General.

What are you hoping to do next?

Next? I don't know exactly what I'm hoping to do next. There are a lot of Tower positions I can't do because I have no graphic skills, and not that many computer skills beyond the basics that most people learn. So, I'm just going to ride the currents and see where Tower life takes me next.

I hope I can be forgiven for interviewing my wife this time around, but she is, of course the Tower member I have easiest access to.
