Meri do Ahlan a'Conlin is a Murandian noblewoman who followed her husband when he fought in the Aiel War. She is a proud, plump woman in a high-necked green riding dress embroidered in red and gold and claims to be a direct descendant of Katrine do Catalan a'Coralle, the first Queen of Murandy. She gives Moiraine her and her son Sedrin's name in order to receive the Tower's bounty of one hundred gold crowns, which she intends to frame to remind her son that he was honored by the White Tower.
