General
Qirat is one of the major cities in Seanchan; it is the fifth largest. It is located at the tip of a great peninsula on the northwestern landmass. Although this part of Seanchan lies almost entirely in the northern hemisphere, Qirat is about fifty to a hundred miles south of the equator (Map).
