Midnight, not a sign from my three girls.
Have they all lost their memories?
Must I sleep here alone?
In the moonlight I find a way to comfort myself,
And Lews Therin begins to moan.
Memory, all alone in the moonlight.
I can smile at the old days,
I was a sheepherder then.
I remember a time I knew who Rand al'Thor was,
Let the memory live again.
Every time I touch saidin
I get a cruel little warning.
Lews Therin mutters and my stomach flutters,
And soon I will be rotting.
My future, I must think of my three girls,
But I mustn't give in,
Not until I have found a way to cleanse saidin.
Then my new life can begin.
Some day soon I'll start a little war,
The one they call Tarmon Gai'don.
The Shadow must fail, another night will be over,
A New Age will be dawning.
But now, all alone in my bedroom,
I will think of the old days,
Of my days in the sun.
In my sleep I will dream of the three girls that I love.
Look, my nightmare has begun.
