Susa is a fictional or perhaps historical character (TEotW, Ch. 4).
Thom likes to tell the story about "How Susa Tamed Jain Farstrider" (TEotW, Ch. 4; TGH, Ch. 34). This may be just an invented story, or Susa may have been Jain's wife. If she was Jain's wife, she died alone of a fever while her husband was out in the world (KoD, Ch. 6).
