Talk:Administrative and Staff Positions in 2010

I just did the format this way to show you how huge this article would be and how varied the roles and structure is. I think you'll be more comfortable with less subsections but then we run into difficulty breaking down the structure with headings. If you look at Community Development, Membership and Moderation all have a LOT of roles that rotate frequently and are part of sub departments. Is it too scary looking this way? --Kerna 16:33, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Good question I was thinking that most departments have several 6 month rotations, which mostly switch mid year, but for those that don't, there would be a lot of people

I do like the idea of one page where we can see everyone who held a position during any year, but we don't want articles to be too big. The problem with subsections is then it becomes fairly similar to the positions page for each group, I think. I put in a to prevent a table of contents, that simplifies it a lot There may be a way of limiting TOC to level 2 headings only--Toral, Department Director and subsupreme overlord 17:16, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Even so, we may want to rethink the headings. Perhaps a level two heading for each department, and everything else done by formatting?

No probs so not break it won by Staff or Admin but just by role? --Kerna 17:23, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

I think that works best, otherwise it will look too big --Toral, Department Director and subsupreme overlord 17:30, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

I am putting the people who worked in the library here, as I want to have somewhere they are all together, but I'm not sure if this is the best place, as they are not official positions. Perhaps a "Library contributors in 2010" page?--Toral, Department Director and subsupreme overlord 22:00, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I guess we could have another page for that. How are we going to link these pages so they're easy to find; right from the main page? --Loira Al'Ramoidra 22:25, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

The main page will have a link to current positions. The Tower main page can have a few more. This page for example, should be linked from the "Tower in 2010 page" and probably one of the administration history pages, such as "Administrative and Staff Positions (History)"

Are you sure the servants of all planning went under Community Development back then? I would have thought it was under Philanthropy? --Zimone Zarasri 23:36, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
