Tell Lewin

General

Tell Lewin is a man from the Two Rivers. He is lanky and a little older than Perrin (TSR, Ch. 33).

He is one of the Two Rivers men to join Perrin. With time, he seems to have gotten the position of a leader among the men, maybe because he was one of the first to follow Perrin (TSR, Ch. 33; TSR, Ch. 56).

Timeline

• He joins Perrin in rescuing the Cauthons and the Luhhans from the Whitecloaks (TSR, Ch. 33).

• After a battle with the Trollocs, he and the others enter Raen's Tinker camp (TSR, Ch. 41) and then accompany Perrin back to Emond's Field (TSR, Ch. 42).

• He is injured during the first Trolloc attack on Emond's Field, but not seriously enough for the Aes Sedai to Heal him (TSR, Ch. 44).

• Lord Luc almost runs over Tell, Ban and Wil as he vanishes from the Two Rivers (TSR, Ch. 53).

• He fights with his longbow against the Trollocs during their attack on Emond's Field (TSR, Ch. 56).

• He and the other Two Rivers men camp outside of Caemlyn (LoC, Ch. 45).

• When Perrin Travels to Cairhien with Rand, Dannil is ordered to follow with the Two Rivers men (LoC, Ch. 49).

• The Two Rivers men join Perrin four days north of Cairhien (LoC, Ch54), and ride with him into the battle at Dumai's Wells, leading a part of the Two Rivers men (LoC, Ch. 55).

• He follows Perrin from Dumai's Wells to Cairhien, while carrying the wolf-head banner (ACoS, Ch. 1; ACoS, Ch. 2; ACoS, Ch. 3). He and the other Two Rivers men stay outside the city (ACoS, Ch. 4).

• Aram is sent to take the Two Rivers men into Cairhien (ACoS, Ch. 6).

• He Travels with Perrin and his party to Ghealdan (ACoS, Ch. 27).

• He and Dannil stay in the background when Perrin meets with the Seanchan until Perrin gives them the order to withdraw the men (KoD, Ch. 4).

Relationships

Tell is Flann Lewin's nephew, but they look so much alike, and he could have been his son instead (TSR, Ch. 33).

The family relation between Tell and Dannil is not clear, because once they are referred to as cousins (TSR, Ch40) and later as brothers (LoC, Ch. 54). They look almost identical (LoC, Ch. 54).
