Tetsuan was an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah. She was raised to the Amyrlin Seat sometime during the Trolloc Wars (TWoRJTWoT).
Tetsuan is one of the three Amyrlins who has been publicly deposed. She lost the staff and stole after betraying Manetheren during the Trolloc Wars for jealousy of Queen Eldrene's powers (The World of Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time"; TGH, Ch. 5).
Tetsuan was replaced by an Amyrlin raised from the Blue Ajah, name unknown (TGH, Ch. 5).
