General

Tarvalon.net became incorporated. This allows for focusing more on philanthropy. The process for becoming a non-profit was begun. The Tar Valon Times moved to the Department of Community Development. The position of Shatayan was created and filled by Arisaema Draconis.Ubahsur Kindellaer took over as director of the Department of Administration.Department of Philanthropy was established as it's own department.

Administration

Admin Meeting

The 2009 Administrative Meeting was held after JordanCon.

Several changes were made at the years Admin Meeting. Among the most significant were to create a Department of Events and Conferences, and a Department of Philanthropy. The Departments will begin to move related materials off of the forums and into Google Docs. Ubahsur Kindellaer was brought on board as a professional volunteer HR-consultant. The Administration will keep track of all that apply for high level jobs for 3 years. They will also generate affirmative action and other reports.

Membership Survey

Nearly 300 members participated from over 20 countries. They answered questions on a range of Tower related subjects and gave detailed information on the demographics of our members

Thirty four people were raised Aes Sedai and fourteen people raised Gaidin

Seventeen couples were bonded

This was the first year for the Department of Events & Conferences. Several successful events were held this year
