Writing Merit

General

One of the Merit Badges introduced in March 2011. It falls under the "Publishers" category.

• Members earn a silver merit after writing 20 or more articles for the Library.
• A gold merit is awarded after writing 100 or more articles for the Library.
• Members who have contributed with 500 or more articles will be awarded with a platinum merit.

When the merits were initially released, the numbers were set at 250 for gold and 100 for silver. The platinum merit was introduced after the Winter 2023 Executive Meeting and the first one was awarded in April 2023.
