The full name was not recorded in the main series, but was given in the Wheel of Time Companion. Other information about the character is also included in the Companion, but we did not use it in the TarValon.Net Library.


Zemaille Amassa is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah and a librarian for the Thirteenth Depositary. She sided with the White Tower Aes Sedai when the Tower split (CoT, Ch. 21).

She is one of the few Sea Folk Aes Sedai (CoT, Ch. 21).

Zemaille is very dark and has long, straight black hair. She is slim and has black tattoos on her hands (NS, Ch. 3). She is tall (CoT, Ch. 21).

Timeline

  • 960 NE: Zemaille enrolls as a novice (NS, Ch. 3).
  • 970 NE: Zemaille takes the Accepted test and passes (NS, Ch. 3).
