===What is Blue?===

"The primary focus of the [[Blue Ajah (TarValon.Net)|Blue Ajah]] is to champion worthy causes (thought worthy by Aes Sedai standards) and to promote justice. Skilled at political maneuvering, Blues are also able administrators. Since Artur Hawkwing's time, more Amyrlins have been raised from the Blue than from any other Ajah." {{guide2|24}}

The Blue Ajah of TarValon.Net carries some but not all of the characteristics of its book equivalent. For one, the Blue Ajah here is significantly larger than our counterpart in the books. Those of the Blue Ajah are strong and independent people who work both alone and together for their causes.

===Blues on {{TV}}===

Blues are known for their ability to plot, but this isn't as negative as the term might suggest. Those of the Blue Ajah often "plot" together to pull surprises for each other--whether it be a new baby gift, a group birthday present or a thread to cheer someone up, they take pride in their ability to look out for themselves and each other.

At present, the Blue Ajah includes the largest amount of site admins across all of the groups on TarValon.Net. Our members hold positions from Director to Mistress of Revels, from Chat Operators to Forum Moderators. For a list of current site roles held by Blues, please see [[Blue Ajah Positions#Site Related Roles|here]].

Each Ajah has their [[Site Traditions|traditions]] and posts, the Blue being no different. For example, each Blue Aes Sedai has the option of adopting a [[Blue S'rediti|S'redit]] - a Seanchan animal often compared to elephants. We're known to enjoy brownies as well.

Blue was where I felt most at home and felt where I could be myself

;Are you like the Blues in the books?
I would like to think that I am. And I don't quite see myself quite fitting into the other Ajahs. Maybe Brown? :cheese idk.

No.

;Do you travel a lot?
I do like to travel, see new places, etc. I do enjoy going back to some places and discovering new "gems" there.

[[Moiraine Damodred]] - partly b/c she is one of two Blue Aes Sedai that I can remember and partly b/c she's a little bad ass

;How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?
A good friend in college got me hooked in 2000

;How did you first get into the series?
A good friend introduced me when we were visiting the public library and she was like "READ THIS!!!!! NAO!!!!" nah, more like "I think you'd like this"

;Who is your favorite "hero"?

;Favorite bad guy/gal?

;Favorite book and scene?
Truth be told, it's been a while since I've read most/all of the books. ~.~ But from what I remember of them, I really say I liked the first book(The Eye of the World), b/c you meet most of the main characters of the series, it's probably one of the faster moving books. I have a couple scenes I liked from the series. The first is when we first meet [[Rand]] and [[Tam]] on the road to Two Rivers and Rand sees a Myrddraal (?) behind them. And the other scene is when Rand and [[Nynaeve]] cleanse the male half of Saidin.

;If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?
It really depends on my mood or whatever I'm in. For a while, it was a female blacksmith (that phase stopped shortly after i finished the books (about 10-ish years ago?). Now I would say I would want to be apart of the Atha'an Miere.

;How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become a Senior Member?
I stumbled upon it back in Feb 2010, when I got interested in the series again. I had done a web search for the series and found it as one of the hits.

;What do you do in "real life"?
Right now, I work PT at a historic theatre in DC

;Do you have any hobbies?
I love to knit, and crochet sometimes. I also enjoy the outdoors, roller derby, geocaching, and reading.

;What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I like a wide variety of things. Some of the bands/groups I like (but aren't limited to) are: Great Big Sea, Mumford and Sons, Green Day, Smashmouth, Blues Traveler, Marina and the Diamonds, The Pippetts, Moosebutter, and Arrogant Worms.

;What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?
I <3 the X-men movies (big Wolverine fan), Princess Bride, most of the Mel Brooks flicks (Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles), the Eddie Izzard stand up DVDs, and the Big Bang Theory.

;Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?
I really enjoy the Melissa Marr Wicked Lovely series, Mist of Avalon series, The Old Kingdom Series (aka Abhorsen Trilogy), and a smattering of other books I cant think of right now

;What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
It was to be a Dr., specifically surgeon, simply b/c I wanted to cut people open (safely mind you) and stitch them back together. I grew out of it.

;Favorite book and scene?
Truth be told, it's been a while since I've read most/all of the books. ~.~ But from what I remember of them, I really say I liked the first book(The Eye of the World), b/c you meet most of the main characters of the series, it's probably one of the faster moving books. I have a couple scenes I liked from the series. The first is when we first meet [[Rand]] and [[Tam]] on the road to Two Rivers and Rand sees a Myrddraal (?) behind them. ;If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?
It really depends on my mood or whatever I'm in. For a while, it was a female blacksmith (that phase stopped shortly after i finished the books (about 10-ish years ago?). Now I would say I would want to be apart of the Atha'an Miere.

;How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become a Senior Member?
I stumbled upon it back in Feb 2010, when I got interested in the series again. I had done a web search for the series and found it as one of the hits.

;What do you do in "real life"?
Right now, I work PT at a historic theatre in DC

;Do you have any hobbies?
I love to knit, and crochet sometimes. I also enjoy the outdoors, roller derby, geocaching, and reading.

;What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I like a wide variety of things. Some of the bands/groups I like (but aren't limited to) are: Great Big Sea, Mumford and Sons, Green Day, Smashmouth, Blues Traveler, Marina and the Diamonds, The Pippetts, Moosebutter, and Arrogant Worms.

;What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?
I <3 the X-men movies (big Wolverine fan), Princess Bride, most of the Mel Brooks flicks (Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles), the Eddie Izzard stand up DVDs, and the Big Bang Theory.

;Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?
I really enjoy the Melissa Marr Wicked Lovely series, Mist of Avalon series, The Old Kingdom Series (aka Abhorsen Trilogy), and a smattering of other books I cant think of right now

;What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
It was to be a Dr., specifically surgeon, simply b/c I wanted to cut people open (safely mind you) and stitch them back together. I grew out of it.
