Overview

Archiving Minions were temporary staff responsible for archiving threads from the old forums, especially those that may potentially come up later for membership or legal purposes.

Position Level: Staff

Rotation: Non rotating

Merit Eligibility: Staff Merit

Chain of Command

Archiving Minions report to the Archivist.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read through threads in the old forums and save appropriate information.

Expectations

  • The ability to recognize that you are going through the history of our members and so will be looking at dirty laundry sometimes, which means you need discretion. This is not something you should do if you are planning on shouting far and wide the history that you dig up.
  • The ability to work steadily. This is not a position that requires a lot of hours every week; it just requires that you work steadily. Even just working 10 hours over the course of a month on it is great.

Time Commitment

Qualifications

  • Of any rank, but you need to have been a member for a month or longer
  • Knowledge of Google Docs, or willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Familiarity with phpbb2 forums
