A similar entry appears in the Wheel of Time Companion confirming the information available in the main story arc.

Author: Kyria d'Oreyn

General

Arlene is Arymilla Marne's maid. She is slim, pretty, and seems to be young (CoT, Ch. 15).

Arymilla thinks of her as knowing what she likes, and Arlene always makes her choices for which bed Arymilla will sleep in (KoD, Ch. 17).

To distract Lord Nasin Caeren from Elenia Sarand, Arymilla sends Arlene away with him to his tent, supposedly to fix him a spiced wine. Arlene is not at all happy to be chosen out to serve Nasin's lusts and Elenia finds it disgusting to offer one's own maid for this (CoT, Ch. 15).

Quotes

"'Yes, mulled wine would be good. Arlene, is it? Come, Arlene, there's a good girl. Not too chill, are you?' The girl squeaked as he swept a corner of his cloak around her shoulders and gathered her so close she was leaning out of her saddle. 'You'll be warm in my tent, I promise.'" (Nasin to Arlene; Crossroads of Twilight, Chapter 15)
