Arrow was Moiraine's horse during the Aiel War and when she first became Aes Sedai. She was a bay mare that Moiraine bought while still an Accepted, to celebrate attaining the ring (NS, Ch. 4) and though not tall, had good endurance and could keep running after most other larger horses tired out, plus was willing and able to jump fences most other horses would shy away from (NS, Ch. 4). She takes her on Bluewing when she leaves Tar Valon (NS, Ch. 14) and into Chachin, where she sets a ward on her that alerts Moiraine when someone tries to steal her (NS, Ch. 23).
