General

Lady Belevaere of House Osiellin is a Cairhienin noblewoman. She is ten years older than Rand.

She corners Rand at Barthanes Damodred's party and tries to flirt with him, but he backs away as soon as another woman, Breane Taborwin, enters the scene.

(TGH, Ch. 32)

Relationships

She is married.

She does not get along with Alaine Chuliandred. They are about the same rank.

She thinks Rand is handsome and wants him to visit her. Rand is sure she thinks he was plotting with either Galldrian or Barthanes.

She is of lower rank than Breane Taborwin, who thinks of her as a spider.

(TGH, Ch. 32)

Quotes

She wore as many stripes as Alaine, and they were of an age, a good ten years older than he. "Do you think to keep him to yourself, Alaine?" The two women smiled at each other while their eyes threw daggers. (Rand about Belevaere and Alaine Chuliandred; The Great Hunt, Chapter 32)

"You have the subtlety of a tavern wench," Alaine hissed at her, and immediately was smiling up at Rand. "She has no polish. No man could like a woman with a manner so rough." (Alaine to Belevaere; The Great Hunt, Chapter 32)
