She agrees to work with Egwne and becomes impressed with her, bringing her information while Egwene is imprisoned. She leads the Tower defence during the Seanchan raid and is one of Egwene's strongest supporters after reunification.

Salindi Casolan: A historical Aes Sedai who lived shortly after the Breaking. She took part in the decision to build Tar Valon and the White Tower.

Salita Toranes: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah; she is aligned with the rebels. She is a Sitter.

Salya: A fictional character.

Samalin: An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah; she is aligned with the rebels. She is a Sitter and originally from Murandy.

Samel Crawe: A man from Emond's Field, Andor; he is on the Village Council. His son is Bandry Crawe.

Samitsu Tamagowa: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah; she is neither aligned with Elaida's nor Egwene's Aes Sedai, but is a follower of Cadsuane Melaidhrin instead. She is originally from Arafel and bonded to Roshan.

Saml Hake: A man from Andor; the innkeeper of The Dancing Cartman in Four Kings.

Sari Ayellin: A young woman from Emond's Field, Andor. She is married.

Sarien: An Aiel warrior.

Sashalle Anderly: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, therefore aligned with the White Tower. She is stilled at Dumai's Wells, but Healed again by Damer Flinn. She gives Cairhien to Elayne on behalf of Rand.

Sawyn Maculhene: A historical character; a general and follower of Guaire Amalasan.

Scouter: Bulen's packhorse, a white mare purchased by Lan.

Seaghan: A man from Cairhien; owner of a performing hall.

Seaine Herimon: An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah; she is aligned with the White Tower and a Sitter in their Hall. She is one of the hunters for the Black Ajah inside the Tower. She allies with Egwene and becomes quite impressed with her, becoming one of her strongest supporters after reunificaiton.

Sealdre: A historical character; a Wise One during the building of Rhuidean. Mandein's wife.

Seana: A Wise One of the Black Cliffs Nakai; a dreamwalker. She is killed by a Draghkar in 'The Shadow Rising.'

Sebban Balwer: A man from Amadicia; Pedron Niall's secretary and true spymaster of the Children of the Light. After Niall's death and the Seanchan invasion, Balwer works as Perrin's secretary, refusing an offer to be recognised as spymaster.

Sedore: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah; she sides with the White Tower and is a Sitter in their Hall. She is on the list of Black Ajah members and flees before Egwene can have her arrested.

Sedrin a'Conlin: A young nobleman from Murandy; born of Meri do Ahlan a'Conlin at the end of the Aiel War.

Sedrin: A highwalker in Valan Luca's menagerie. He falls to his death after the show leaves Sienda.

Sephanie Pelden: A young tirewoman in the Royal Palace in Caemlyn. Naris' sister.

Sera: A damane from Seanchan.

Serafelle: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah.

Serailla: A woman from Kandor; the First Councilor to Queen Ethenielle.

Serancha Colvine: An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah; she is aligned to the White Tower, where she is the Head Clerk of the Gray Ajah. She agrees to raise Egwene on the condition that the other Ajah Heads don't think they will be able to run things from behind the scenes.

Serden: An Ogier author. Kolom's son.

Sereille Bagand: A historical character; an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah and Mistress of Novices for a time, before being raised to the Amyrlin Seat.

Sereine dar Shamelle Motara: A historical character; a writer and the Counsel-Sister to Comaelle, the High Queen of Jaramide.

Seta Zarbey: A sul'dam from Seanchan. She travels with Mat and the Aes Sedai with him find out that she is able to channel eventually leaving him for the White Tower.

Setagana: Anaiya's Warder. He is killed in 'Crossroads of Twilight.'

Setalle Anan: A burned out Aes Sedai; the innkeeper of The Wandering Woman in Ebou Dar, until selling the inn. She has a couple of children with her husband Jasfer: Frielle, Leral, Marah and Ross are among them. She is 'the one who is no longer.' She travels with Mat.

Setsuko: A woman from Arafel; a novice in 'New Spring.' It is likely she has been sent away, since she was not strong enough to be tested for Accepted.

Sevanna: A Wise One of the Jumai Shaido; roofmistress of Comarda Hold and wife of the former clan chief Suladric. Speaks as the clan chief until a new one has gone to Rhuidean.

Seve: A boy from Ghealdan; he and his brother Jaril are orphans.

Sevlana Meseau: A historical character; a legendary Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah.

Shalon din Togara Morning Tide: A woman of the Sea Folk; the Windfinder of Clan Shodein. Mishael's wife; Harine din Togara's sister.

Shana: An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah; she is aligned with the rebels. She has a Talent in reading residues.

Shanal: A novice in the White Tower who Egwene recruits to help defend against the Seanchan attack.

Sulin: A Maiden of the Spear; she was roofmistress of the Roof of the Maidens in Rhuidean, until she left with Rand. She commanded the Maidens with Rand, until Nandera took over. Now she is with Perrin's group., though in the Gathering Storm, she is mentioned as being with Rand, before Perrin has been located

Sulmara: A historical character; a renegade Aes Sedai and Queen of Masenashar.

Sulwin: A historical character; a Da'shain Aiel shortly after the Breaking of the World and one of the first Tuatha'an.

Sumeko Karistovan: A Kin Elder and Wise Woman in Ebou Dar; she was an Accepted in the White Tower, but put out when she failed her test for the shawl.

Surlivan Sarat: A man from Altara; an officer of the guard of the Tarasin Palace in Ebou Dar.

Suroth Sabelle Meldarath: A High Lady from Seanchan and a Darkfriend. After Turak's death, she takes over the command of the Forerunners. She orders the attack on Tarabon and then Amadicia. After the Empress' death, she wants to claim that title herself and sends her men to kill Tuon. She fails and is reduced to being da'covale.

Surya: A sul'dam present when Semirhage attacked Rand while posing as the Daughter of the Nine Moons.

Susa al'Seen: A novice aligned with the rebel Aes Sedai. She is among the Two Rivers girls Alanna Mosvani and Verin Mathwin want to enroll in the novice book, but a group of Aes Sedai of the original Salidar embassy end up escorting them to the rebel camp.

Susa Wynn: A woman from Murandy; her husband died before the fighting began in the Aiel War, leaving her with their son Cyril.

Susa: A fictional character, though it might be possible she really lived. In this case she might have been Jain Farstrider's wife, who died of a fever.

Susu: A woman from Murandy; a singer in The Good Night's Ride in Lugard.
