Author: Atarah al'Norahn

General

Eadyth is the First Selector (Head) of the Blue Ajah, as well as a Sitter in the Hall (NS, Ch. 12). Kairen Stang says that she is perhaps the most capable Blue in the last hundred years (NS, Ch. 12).

She is round-faced and stout; her hair is white and reaches her waist (NS, Ch. 11, NS, Ch. 12).

Timeline

  • Eadyth welcomes Moiraine and Siuan to the Blue Ajah (NS, Ch. 11).
  • Eadyth speaks to Moiraine and Siuan about sensing the strength of power in other sisters (NS, Ch. 12).
  • Eadyth gives Moiraine and Siuan each a letter-of-rights in the amount of one thousand gold crowns and tells them that they will receive the same each year (NS, Ch. 13).
  • Eadyth speaks to Moiraine before she leaves to find the Dragon Reborn (NS, Ch. 14).

Relationships

Eadyth seems to have good relationships with all of her sisters in her Ajah. She is kind when welcoming Moiraine and Siuan into the Blue Ajah, and whenever she speaks to them, it is with some degree of warmth or friendliness.

Miscellaneous

Eadyth is very uncomfortable while speaking to Moiraine and Siuan about gauging the strength of other sisters (NS, Ch. 12).
