Eselle Najima is a girl who lives with her family near Canluum. Her parents are Josef and Jurine Najima, two of her siblings Colar and Jerid. She is perhaps thirteen or fourteen, as tall as a grown Cairhienin woman, with long black hair and large blue eyes.
She lost her father and three brothers in a fire.
When Moiraine visits the family to get to know more about Eselle's baby brother Jerid, she does not leave her mother's side during the whole conversation.
