Fingers of the Dragon

The Fingers of the Dragon is a vast delta in Tear where the Erinin flows into the Aryth Ocean (TSR, Ch. 12). Many fishermen work there (TSR, Ch. 12) and Tear uses prisoners to clear the silt and keep the water free (TSR, Ch. 50). Tear does not allow anyone in or out of them without a Tairen pilot on board (TWoRJTWoT, Ch. 30), though after the execution of Nesta, Sea Folk ships in large numbers sailed though the Fingers of the Dragon to Tear without pilots (WH, Ch. 9).
